Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan konseling kelompok dan tingkat self efficacy siswa di SMP N 1 Babat Toman, (2) menghasilkan model layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik Relaksasi berbasis musik Intrumental, (3) mengetahui keefektifan model konseling kelompok dengan teknik relaksasi berbasis musik intrumental untuk meningkatkan self efficacy siswa SMP Negeri 1 Babat Toman Musi Banyuasin. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian reseach and development (RnD) dengan langkah-langkah: (1) persiapan pengembangan model, (2) merumuskan model hipotetik, (3) uji kelayakan model hipotetik, (4) perbaikan model hipotetik, (5) hasil akhir produk, (6). uji lapangan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah model konseling kelompok dengan teknik relaksasi berbasis musik intrumental untuk meningkatkan self efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan 10 siswa sebagai sampel. Berdasarkan hasil uji lapangan, tingkat self efficacy siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah mengikuti kegiatan konseling kelompok dengan teknik relaksasi yang ditunjukkan dengan perubahan tingkat self efficacy siswa yang sangat signifikan sebelum diberikan perlakuan (evaluasi awal) dan sesudah (evaluasi akhir) sebesar 147 poin atau 99 %. Dengan demikian, layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik relaksasi berbasis musik intrumental efektif untuk meningkatkan self efficacy siswa. The aims of this study were: (1) to find out the implementation of group counceling and the levels of self efficacy of the students of; (2) to produce a service model of group counceling by using music-based relaxation technique; (3) to know the effectiveness of group counceling model by using music-based relaxation technique to improve self efficacy of students of SMP Negeri 1 Babat Toman Muba South Sumatera. This study implemented the research and development (RnD) design within several steps: (1) the model development planning, (2) the formulation of hypothetical model (3) the try out of hypothetical model, (4) the revision of hypothetical model, (5) final product, and (6) field test. This study involved 10 students as sample. Result of the field test showed that levels of students’ self efficacy were significantly improved after they joined group counceling model by using music-based relaxation technique. The students’ levels self efficacy improvement before treatment (initial evaluation) and after treatment (final evaluation) was 147 points or 99%. Findings of this study can be concluded that the implementation of group counceling model by using music-based relaxation technique effectively improved students’ self efficacy.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji efektivitas konseling kelompok teknik cognitive restructuring untuk mereduksi prokrastinasi akademik ditinjau dari jenis kelamin pada siswa SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. Jenis penelitian randomized pretest–postest control group design diaplikasikan dalam penelitian ini dengan melibatkan sejumlah 16 siswa yang memiliki skor prokrastinasi akademik tinggi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik non parametrik dengan menggunakan uji u mann whitney untuk menguji efek cognitive restructuring terhadap prokrastinasi dan menggunakan uji wilcoxon signed rank test untuk mengetahui efektivitas intervensi antara jenis kelamin laki – laki dan perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok CBT teknik cognitive restructuring efektif untuk mereduksi prokrastinasi akademik. Teknik cognitive restructuring cocok untuk siswa laki–laki maupun perempuan. Hal ini terbukti dengan tak ada perbedaan skor postes secara signifikan diantara keduanya. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of group counseling of Cognitive-Behavior Therapy with cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce academic procrastination between male and female students of SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. The randomized pretest-posttest control group design was applied, and 16 students were involved in present study. Data were analyzed using non parametric statistics of Mann  Whitney U test for examining the impact of cognitive restructuring on academic procrastination and Wilcoxon signed rank test for determining the effect of cognitive restructung between male and female students. The results showed that CBT group counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques was effective for reducing academic procrastination. The cognitive restructuring techniques were suitable for both male and female students. It was reflected from the absence of significant differences effect of cognitive restructuring between them.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pelaksanaan layanan konseling kelompok SMP Negeri 5 Cepu; (2) Memperoleh gambar tingkat self confidence siswa SMP Negeri 5 Cepu; (3) Menghasilkan model layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik self instruction untuk meningkatkan self confidence siswa; and (4) Mengetahui keefektifan model layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik self instruction untuk meningkatkan self confidence siswa SMP Negeri 5 Cepu. Penelitian ini menggunakan research and development dengan melibatkan 187 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Cepu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) layanan konseling kelompok sudah dilaksankan di SMP Negeri 5 Cepu namun masih terfokus pada siswa yang mengalami masalah dan teknik yang digunakan hanya teknik diskusi; (2) Tingkat self confidence siswa mayoritas dalam kategori self confidence yang sedang (38,96%) dan kurang (45,45%); (3) Dihasilkan model konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik self instruction untuk meningkatkan self confidence siswa; dan (4) Model yang dikembangkan efektif untuk meningkatkan self confidence.The purposes of this research were to: (1) Describe and analyze the implemention of group counseling services in SMP Negeri 5 Cepu, (2) Obtain an overview of the level of confidence of the students of SMP Negeri 5 Cepu, (3) Produces a model of group counselling services with self instruction technique to improve students’ self confidence; and (4) Identifying the effectiveness of group counselling service model with self instruction technique to improve students’ self confidence in SMP Negeri 5 Cepu. This study applied a reseach and development design with involving 187 students of Grade VIII from SMP Negeri 5 Cepu. The results indicated that (1) Group counselling services had implemented at SMP Negeri 5 Cepu, but it still focused on the students who have problems and the techniques were only discussions; (2) The majority students’ self confidence were in category medium (38,96%) and low (45,45%); (3) Group counselling models with self instruction technique to improve students’ self-confidence have been produced in this study; and (4) The model was effective to increase students’ self confidence.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil konsep diri di MAN Kembangsawit dan menguji efektivitas konseling naratif untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa di MAN Kembangsawit Kabupaten Madiun. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai  dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain “randomize pre-test post-test control group design” yang melibatkan subjek penelitian 10 siswa dengan konsep diri rendah dan status sosial ekonomi yang rendah. Mereka dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 5 siswa dan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 5 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa profil konsep diri siswa MAN Kembangsawit mempunyai kecenderungan konsep diri kategori sedang dan ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor konsep diri siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan konseling naratif. Dengan demikian, konseling naratif efektif untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa di MAN Kembangsawit Kabupaten Madiun.The aim of this research was to desribe the profile of the self concept in MAN Kembangsawit and to test the effect of counseling narrative on students’ self-concept of MAN Kembangsawit Madiun districtA randomize pre-test post-test control group design was implemented with involving 10 students who have low self-concept and low socio-economic status. They were divided into two groups: 5 students in the experimental group and 5 students in the control group. The results of the study showed the profile of students’ self concept of MAN Kembangsawit were in medium category and the narrative counseling was effective to develop students’ self concept in MAN Kembangsawit Madiun district.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' career understanding through career information service with Mind Mapping technique. The experimental method used pre-test post-test control group design, involving 2 classes as control group and experimental group. The results of this study indicate that students who obtain career information services with mind mapping techniques have increased understanding of career higher than students who do not get information carier information with mind mapping techniques.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of group counseling using modeling techniques to improve self-efficacy decision making of study continuation in senior high school students. The research method of present study was experimental design, particular by Randomized Pretest-Postest Comparison Group design, and involving 18 students as participants who selected random assignment from students of class XII SMA Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik. The result of analysis using One way ANOVA showed that group counseling  using modeling techniques effective to improve self-efficacy decision making of  study continuation in students (F(2,24) = 69.016; p < 0.01). The results of this study indicate that students who received group counseling services with combined techniques experienced improved self-efficacy of advanced study decision making higher than students who received group counseling services with live modeling techniques.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy group counseling using cognitive restructuring techniques and assertive skills training to improve student assertive behavior. The research method used was experimental, design Pretest-Posttest Randomized Comparison Group Design, involving research subjects were 21 students selected by purposive sampling of class X SMK Ibu Kartini Semarang. The results of analysis by using One way ANOVA showed that group counseling using cognitive restructuring techniques and techniques of assertive skills training is effective in improving student assertive behavior (F = 78.141; p < 0.01). The results of this study showed that students who received counseling services group uses a combination of techniques cognitive restructuring techniques assertive skills training is more effective than counseling group that only received one of the counseling service engineering group cognitive restructuring or by using assertive skills training to improve assertive behavior of students.

Abstract

This this study aims to test the effectiveness of group counseling solution focused career counseling to improve career maturity of students SMA Negeri 04 Pamekasan.The research design used was experiment involving 7 students from SMA Negeri 04 Pamekasan chosen by purposive random sampling. The instrument used in this research is Career Maturity Inventory (CMI) Form C. The results showed group counselling solution focused career counseling effectively to improve the maturity of career learners.This study provides clarification of the effectiveness of career maturity of learners with group counseling solution focused career counseling.

Abstract

Public Speaking or the ability to speak in public is one of basic competencies that must be owned by students. However, apparently, there found many students having public speaking anxiety and in high category. Regarding this problem, this study was aimed at examining the effectiveness of a group counselling with desensitization technique and emotional freedom technique in reducing students' public speaking anxiety. The implementation of those techniques were done twice in each group counselling service. Meanwhile, the research method employed was mixed anova repeated measures test design by involving 16 students having high level public anxiety chosen from 100 students by using purposive sampling. Further, the results of mixed anova repeated measure showed thatthe group counselling with systematic desensitization technique and emotional freedom technique (EFT) was proved to be effective in reducing the public speaking anxiety of students. Besides, seen from the average score and time effect, emotional freedom technique resulted higher decrease than systematic desensitization technique. For more, the more emotional freedom technique was given, the higher decrease of the public speaking anxiety of students would result.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to enhance students’ emotional maturity through experiential learning group counseling service. The experiment research method of pre-test post-test control group design was used with involving 16 students as experimental group (N = 8) and control (N = 8). The result of data analysis by using Wilcoxon test and Mann-Whitney test showed that group counseling based on experiential learning was effective to improve students’ emotional maturity. Discussion of the results of this research is directed to identify the implications of the application of group counseling based on experiential learning in improving students’ emotional maturity.
