Abstract

ABSTRACTHospital patient safety is a system that makes patient care in hospitals safer, minimizes risks and prevents injuries caused by wrong actions or not taking actions that should be taken. Hospitals must implement effective patient safety efforts to prevent and reduce incidents that cause patient injury. This Community Service (PkM) aims to provide education to 40 staff at the RSUD Sungai Gelam, Muaro Jambi Regency regarding the implementation of patient safety targets and patient safety culture. This PkM activity was carried out for 1 (one) day with stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results showed an average increase in hospital staff knowledge about patient safety goals of 22.1 and patient safety culture of 19.7. The results of the dependent t-test showed that there was a significant effect of providing education on the level of knowledge of hospital staff regarding patient safety goals (p=0.002) and patient safety culture (p=0.001). It was hoped that the management of RSUD Sungai Gelam will carry out regular assessments (evaluations) regarding the implementation of patient safety targets and patient safety culture in the hospital as a basis for efforts to develop and improve the quality of service, organize training or workshops on the implementation of patient safety targets and culture in hospitals as a whole. periodically, foster awareness of patient safety culture, and develop and improve hospital systems that support patient safety efforts.Keywords: Hospitals, patient safety goals, education ABSTRAKKeselamatan pasien (patient safety) rumah sakit merupakan sistem yang membuat asuhan pasien di rumah sakit menjadi lebih aman, meminimalkan risiko dan mencegah terjadinya cedera yang disebabkan kesalahan tindakan atau tidak mengambil tindakan yang seharusnya dilakukan. Rumah sakit harus menerapkan upaya keselamatan pasien secara efektif untuk mencegah dan menurunkan terjadinya insiden yang menyebabkan cedera pasien. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada 40 orang staf Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi tentang implementasi sasaran keselamatan pasien dan budaya keselamatan pasien. Kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan selama 1 (satu) hari dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil analisis pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan staf rumah sakit tentang sasaran keselamatan pasien sebesar 22,1 dan budaya keselamatan pasien sebesar 19,7. Hasil uji t-dependen diperoleh adanya pengaruh signifikan pemberian edukasi dengan tingkat pengetahuan staf rumah sakit tentang sasaran keselamatan pasien (p=0,002) dan budaya keselamatan pasien (p=0,001). Diharapkan kepada manajemen RSUD Sungai Gelam untuk melakukan penilaian (evaluasi) secara berkala terkait implementasi sasaran keselamatan pasien dan budaya keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit sebagai dasar upaya pengembangan dan peningkatan kulitas pelayanan, menyelenggarakan pelatihan atau workshop tentang implementasi sasaran dan budaya keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit secara berkala, menumbuhkan kesadaran budaya keselamatan pasien, serta mengembangkan dan meningkatkan sistem rumah sakit yang mendukung upaya keselamatan pasien. Abstract

ABSTRACTClean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in Schools is absolutely necessary to transmit the experience of healthy living behavior, especially to students who are vulnerable to illness. This activity aims to increase knowledge about PHBS and hand washing skills with soap (CTPS) among students at SD 23/VII in Tuo Ilir village, Tebo district. The activity method is PHBS counseling through lectures using posters and CPTS practice simulations for 60 students. The evaluation results showed that there was an increase in students' knowledge levels before and after being given the counseling. It is recommended that schools carry out PHBS counseling activities regularly and provide good and adequate CTPS facilities so that PHBS behavior truly becomes a pattern and habit for students.Keywords: Counseling, PHBS, Washing Hands with Soap ABSTRAKPerilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) di Sekolah mutlak dibutuhkan untuk menularkan pengalaman perilaku hidup sehat terutama bagi anak-anak siswa yang rentan terhadap sakit. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang PHBS dan keterampilan mencuci tangan pakai sabun (CTPS) pada siswa SD 23/VII desa Tuo Ilir kabupaten Tebo. Metode kegiatan adalah penyuluhan PHBS melalui ceramah menggunakan poster dan simulasi praktik CPTS terhadap 60 orang siswa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan siswa antara sebelum dengan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan. Disarankan kepada pihak sekolah untuk melaksanakan kegiatan penyuluhan PHBS secara secara rutin dan menyediakan fasilitas CTPS yang baik dan memadai agar perilaku PHBS benar-benar menjadi pola dan kebiasaan bagi anak-anak siswa.Kata kunci: Penyuluhan, PHBS, Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun

Abstract

Patient loyalty will be created if the hospital is able to provide quality services that create the best values for patients thereby increasing patient satisfaction.Failure to understand quality of service, patient value, and patient satisfaction will risk losing patient loyalty to hospital services. This study aims to analyze the model of hospital patient loyalty as the effect of service quality, patient value and patient satisfaction. A cross sectional study was conducted through a survey among inpatients at eight hospitals in Jambi Province-Indonesia. A four-point likert scale was used to measure construct variables and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model. The results showed that the influence between factors in the coefficient path has a significant effect, except for the indirect effect between service quality and patient loyalty through value. Hospital management practitioners should focus on developing service quality improvement strategies that are able to create value for patients so as to increase satisfaction and ultimately encourage and maintain patient loyalty.Hospitals can take advantage of this research model as a self-evaluation instrument to achieve patient loyalty so as to increase hospital revenue and reputation.
