Abstract: This research was based on the students achievement in learning mathematics especially grade VIII2 of SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Apit under the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of 40,74% on the test about Tribe Factorization Algebra. This research is a class action research. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathematics in grade VIII2 of SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Apit by that applying the cooperative learning model of structural approach Think Pair Share (TPS). The subject of this research were the students in the class VIII2 of SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Apit that consist of 14 boys and 13 girls at the first semester of academic year 2016/2017. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and student?s mathematic tests. The activity of teacher and students showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematic from the basic score with percentage 40,74% to 59,25% on the first test and 70,37% on second test. The frequency distribution analysis as well showed an improvement student achievement are increasing the number of student who received higher criteria on the first test and second test compared the number of student who received higher criteria on the basic score. On the enaugh criteria, the number of student at interval 41-60 descreased from basic score to the first test and second test. Furtehrmore, on the higher criteria, the number of student at interval 81-100 increased from basic score to first test and second test. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that that applying the cooperative learning model of structural approach Think Pair Share (TPS) can improve the learning process and improve the student?s achievement of learning mathematic in grade VIII2 of SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Apit in the first semester academic years 2016/2017.

Abstract : The background of this research is the low ability of students' problem solving of mathematics which causes the low result of the mathematics students learning. This research used experiment and use design non-equivalent control group design. Population in this research is ll of the first grade students in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. Sample of this research consists of two classes, there are class VII6 as the class experiment and VII5 as the class control. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of applying realistic mathematics eduacation approach to students' ability in mathematics problem solving in KD 3.4 Explain and state the sets, subsets, universe sets, empty sets, complement of sets and perfom binary operation on set using contextual problem and KD 4.4 Complete contextual problems related to the sets, subset, the universe sets, the empty sets, the complement of the sets, and the binary operations in the set. The research instrument used is the test of early mathematics ability obtained from the daily test in previous KD and test of mathematics problem solving (posttest). The result of the early mathematics ability test is used to determination the class sample. The result of the posttest were analyzed using the parametric statistical test of difference of two averages and the magnitude of influence calculated using Cohen's formula. The results of this reseach show that the applying realistics mathematics eduation approach give positive influence to students' ability in mathematics problem solving. The influence of realistics mathematics education approach has an impact of 76% on the problem solving ability of firat grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru and included in the medium category.Key Word : Realistics Mathematics Education, Ability in Math problem solving

Abstract : The 2013 curriculum is a curriculum that directs students to be actively in the learning process. This research is based on the limited reference of teachers to develop learning devices that are corresponding with the 2013 Curriculum. This research aims to produce learning devices in the form of Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), and Student Worksheets (LKPD) with the Discovery Learning model on the flat side space subject 8th grade student of Junior High School that meet valid and practical requirements. The development model in this research is 4-D with the steps are Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The learning device products that have been made are validated by three validators. The average analysis result of the Syllabus validation data is 3.56 in the very valid category which means that the Syllabus is feasible to use and the average value for the RPP is 3.59 and LKPD is 3.64 in the very valid category which means that the RPP and LKPD are worth testing. Valid learning devices have been tested on small groups and large groups. The average results of the analysis of small group trial data is 3.42 and large group trial data is 3.30 which shows a very practical category. The average results of the analysis of observational data on the implementation of learning corresponding to the lesson plan is 2.95, including a very practical category which means that the lesson plan and worksheet are feasible to be used in schools.Key Words: Mathematics Learning Devices, 2013 Curriculum, Discovery Learning, Scientific.

Abstract This research aimed to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes in SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru by implementing Structural Approach to Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT). Subjects of the research were students grade VIII5 who have the academic ability of the heterogeneous. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, the stages are planning, action, observation and reflection. The results show the activity of teachers and students have done well after doing the action. There was enchanment in the number of students who achieved KKM (minimum criteria of achievement) in formative test at the end of each cycle is compared to the number of students who achieve KKM on base score. Starting from 22,5% increased to 35% and increased to 62,5%. There was also an increasing in the number of students who scored 20 and 30 is compared to the development of the number of students who received grades 5 and 10. Results of this research indicate that the application of Structural Approach to Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can improve learning process and improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students grade VIII5 SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru in the first semester academic year 2013/2014. Abstract: The background of this research is the low outcomes study of mathematical of students class XI MAN 3 Pekanbaru. The purposes of this research are (1) to describe the difference of mathematical outcomes study of students who study through discovery learning (DL) model with student who study through conventional learning with scientific approaching; (2) to describe the improvment of mathematical outcomes study of students who study through discovery learning (DL) model with students who study through conventional learning with scientific approaching. This research is an experimental research (quasi experiment) with The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research is all students of class XI MAN 3 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research consits of two classes, class XI MIA2 as experiment class and XI MIA1 as control class. The research instruments are mathematical prior knowledge test and matehmatical outcomes study test. Mathematical prior knowledge test score were used to select the sample of this research. Data were analysed by using Independent sample t-test preceded by normality test and homogenity of variances test. The result showed that the difference of mathematical and the improvement of mathematical outcomes study of students who study through DL model is higher than student who study through conventional learning with scientific approaching. Abstract: This research was based on the students achievement in learning mathematics especially grade VIII1 of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru under the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of 43,6% on the test about cube, cuboid, prism, pyramid. Beside, this research was based on the low of students learning activity with the percentage of 60,53% of students still looks passive in the process of learning math. This research is a class action research. This research aims to improve the leraning activities students and learning result in mathematics in grade VIII1 of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru by implementation of CTL approach. The analyzed in quantitive showed there is an increase in againts the seven indicators of the activity of student learning. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematic from the basic score with percentage 38,46% to 68,42% on the test I and 81,58% on the test II. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of CTL Approach can improve the students learning activity and student’s achievement of learning mathematic in grade VIII1 of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2016/2017.

The research subjects are 24 heterogenous academic ability level students of the VIII1 class students at MTsN Muara Fajar in academic year of 2016/2017. The research consisted of two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phases, i.e; namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. By the end of a cycle, daily test was held. The data was collected by means of observation and daily test. The action success indicators were if there is learning process improvement and the increasing number of students passing Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC) in daily test I and daily test II. The research shows that teachers and students’ activities were conducted well as planned. Most of the students participated actively in the learning process e.g. discussing, presenting student’s worksheet, responding to classmate’s presentation, and drawing the lesson conclusion. Additionally, the students afforded to answer the written test given by teacher well. Therefore, it can be said that improvement of learning process took place in every meeting. Furthermore, the number of students passing the MCC on base score, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) were respectively 6 students (25%), 7 students (29,2%), dan 12 students (50%). The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students’ learning outcomes also increase. Finally, the research also shows that cooperative learning with Think Pair Square approach can improve mathematic learning process and learning outcomes of VIII1 class students at MTsN Muara Fajar.Key Words: Math Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and learning outcomes math class VIII SMPN 11 Pinggir by applying Cooperative learning model Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type. The subjects were students of class VIII A with heterogen academic ability. This research is a class action with two cycles. Each cycle has four steps, the steps are the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Results showed activity sheets and teacher observation of students have done well after taking action. There is an improvement in thestudents learning process and an increase in the number of students who achieved at UH minimum completeness criteria end of each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve minimum completeness criteria on base score. Abstract: This research is conducted based on the unsatisfied process in learning mathematics at grade VIII.5 of SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru. It was seen from the low motivation of the students to learn mathematics whilethe learning process. These problems impact on the number of students who pass KD 4.1 Determine the elements and parts of the circle; 4.2 Counting the circumference of a circle; And 4.3 Using the relationship of center angle, arc length, area of juring in problem solving test with percentage of 47,6%. The research was a Classroom Action Research that aims to improve the learning process and increase the motivation of the students to learn mathematics by implementing Cooperative Learning Approach Structural of Numbered Heads Together (NHT). There were 42 students in the class consisting 21 boys and 21 girls as the participant of this research. The instruments of data collecting in this research were observation sheets (observation of teacher and students activity and observation of students motivation) and the motivation questionnaire. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative descriptive, while the motivation questionnaire were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process and the motivation of students to learn mathematics at grade VIII.5 of SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru better after the action than before the action. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test for all indicators of motivation questionnaire obtained Z = -3,858, so that = 0,0001 < α = 0,05 and for each indicator of the motivation to learn mathematics obtained . From this test is rejected, in other words, the motivation to learn mathematics at grade VIII.5 of SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru increased after the action. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of Cooperative Learning Approach Structural of NHT can improved the learning process and increased motivation to learn mathematics at grade VIII.5 of SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru on second semester of academic year 2015/2016.Key Words : Motivation to Learn Mathematics, Cooperative Learning ApproachStructural of Think Pair Square, Classroom Action Research2
