Abstract

This research purpose was to know the influence of TPS learning modeltowards student activities and conceptual understanding. The research used non-equivalent pretest posttest design. The samples were students of VIIG and VIID class that were selected by purposive sampling technique. Qualitative data were obtained from learning activities observation sheets and students questionnaire responses that were analyzed descriptively. Quantitative data were obtained from the average value of test that were analyzed by using t-test and U-test. The average of students learning activities percentage for all aspects in experiment class was higher than control that was 45.60%. The average of conceptual understanding in experiment class was higher than control. Most of the student (93%) gave good impression towards TPSlearning model. Therefore, TPS cooperative learning model improved students activities and conceptual understanding on subject of the characteristics of living things.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa dan penguasaan materi. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas VIIG dan VIID yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan angket tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif TPS yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U. Rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa semua aspek pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi sebesar 45,60% dibanding kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan materi pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol. Sebagian besar siswa (93%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap model pembelajaran TPS. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif TPS meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi pokok ciri-ciri makhluk hidup.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, ciri-ciri makhluk hidup, model pembelajaran TPS, penguasaan materi

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine the significance correlation between the contribution of environment knowledge and environmental care attitude. The design of this research was correlational study. The subjects of this study were 106 students of VIII grade of Junior High School 7 Metro was determined by cluster random sampling technique. Data were environment knowledge and data of environmental care attitude that was taken using multiplechoice and questionnaire. Data analysis technique used was simple linear regression. The result showed that (1) there was a positif correlation between the environment knowledge and environmental care attitude the direction of the correlation between the knowledge with the attitude was positive which was shown through the regression line equation, that was 67,69 + 0,29X; and (2) there was no strong contribution from the knowledge to the attitudes that shown by the coefficient of determination, which was 25%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keeratan hubungan antara pengetahuan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah desain deskriptif korelasional. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIISMP Negeri 7 Metroberjumlah 106 siswa yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data pengetahuan lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa diperoleh dari instrumen soal dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pengetahuan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa yang ditunjukkan melalui persamaan garis regresi Y = 67,69 + 0,29X. (2) tidak ada kontribusi yang kuat dari pengetahuan terhadap sikap yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien determinasi, yaitu sebesar 25%.Kata kunci: pengetahuan lingkungan, sikap, siswa

Abstract

This research aimed to know the profile of students' ability to make hypotheses through guided inquiry learning model in the subject matter of life organization. The research design used was a simple descriptive with purposive sampling so sample were the class VII C and VII D. Qualitative data was student of the ability to make hypotheses. Research results was most of students (29,36%) has medium to good category and in general (70,64%) less to bad category. Some of students has good (2,95%) category either. Then some of students (26,41%) has category. Then, some of students (44,21%) has less category. Furthermore, almost half (26.61%) bad categorized. Thus, it was concluded that students' ability to make hypotheses through guided inquiry learning model in the subject matter the lives organization classified as medium to good category and generally classified as less to bad category. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam membuat hipotesis melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pokok organisasi kehidupan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif sederhana dengan purposive sampling sehingga kelas VII C dan VII D sebagai sampel. Data kualitatif berupa kemampuan membuat hipotesis. Hasil penelitian bahwa hamper setengahnya (29,36%) berkategori sedang sampai baik dan pada umumnya (70,64%) berkategori kurang sampai buruk. Rata-rata sebagian kecil (2,95%) berkategori baik. Lalu sebagian kecil (26,41%) berkategori sedang. Kemudian hamper setengahnya (44,21%) berkategori kurang. Selanjutnya hamper setengahnya (26,61%) berkategori buruk. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam membuat hipotesis melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pokok organisasi kehidupan hamper setengahnya tergolong kategori sedang sampai baik dan pada umumnya tergolong kategori kurang sampai buruk. Kata kunci: hipotesis, kemampuan siswa, model inkuiri terbimbing, organisasi kehidupan

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of teaching materials based on local wisdom to increase the activity and learning outcomes of students in SD N 1 Pugung Penengahan on Theme 3 "Care for Living Beings". The sample in this study was the class IV students in SD N 1 Pugung Penengahan totaling 22 people. The study design used the one group pretest posttest design. Data in this study were analyzed descriptively. Data collection techniques using pretest and posttest, activity observation sheet and questionnaire. The results showed that the learning activities of students were good criteria. The highest aspect of activity was to observe the teacher's explanation and the lowest was to maintain opinions. Teaching materials based on local wisdom are effective in improving student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes of students have an N-gain 0.72 which has high criteria. The results of the questionnaire responses of students towards local wisdom-based teaching materials have very good criteria.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal terhadap peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik di SD N 1 Pugung Penengahan pada Tema 3 “Peduli terhadap Makhluk Hidup”. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV di SD N 1 Pugung Penengahan berjumlah 22 orang. Desain penelitian menggunakan one grup pretest posttest. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pretes dan postes, lembar observasi aktivitas dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik berkriteria baik. Aspek aktivitas yang paling tinggi adalah memperhatikan penjelasan guru dan paling rendah adalah mempertahankan pendapat. Bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil belajar peserta didik memiliki nilai N-gain 0,72 yang berkriteria tinggi. Hasil angket tanggapan peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal berkriteria sangat baik.Kata kunci : aktivitas, bahan ajar, hasil belajar, kearifan lokal

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine relationship between quality of questions with student learning outcomes. The design was descriptive correlational. The samples were students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pagelaran that were selected by purposive sampling. Qualitative data was quality of student questions that compare with learning outcomes and quantitative data was learning outcomes from daily examination. The data was tested statistically by using Pearson correlation test (Product Moment). The results showed there was no correlation between quality of students questions and learning outcomes with equal to -0.078. No correlation between quality of student questions and student learning outcomes might caused by the difficulty of the reproductive system subject matter which must be explored specificly, and unsuitable of speech learning method.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas pertanyaan dengan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasional. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pagelaran. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif yaitu kualitas pertanyaan siswa yang dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa dan data kuantitatif yaitu nilai hasil belajar yang diperoleh dari nilai ulangan harian. Data yang telah diperoleh diuji statistik menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson (Product Moment). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak ada korelasi antara kualitas pertanyaan siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa yaitu sebesar -0,078. Tidak adanya hubungan antara kualitas pertanyaan siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa diduga disebabkan oleh sulitnya materi sistem reproduksi yang harus digali secara spesifik, serta kurang tepatnya penggunaan metode ceramah dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, pertanyaan siswa, taksonomi Bloom

Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the students’ activity and creativity in learning biologi using Project Based Learning (PBL) model. The research design used was single experimental treatment. The sample of this research were students of grade X of SMA Pembina Menggala that were taken by purposive sampling technique. The data of the research was qualitative data described, that were: students’ creativity, students’ product, students’ learning activity, students’ scoring questionnaire about other students’ product and students’ comment about PBL model. The result showed that most of students’ learning creativity categorized as “quite creative” (68,14%) in planning and making product, most of product made categorized as “valuable” (62,53%), and most of students’ learning activity categorized as “quite activity” (64,89%). So, it can be concluded that the students were “quite creative” in planning and making rubbish recycle product and “quite active” in learning using PBL model. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PBL). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental perlakuan tunggal. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMA Pembina Menggala kelas X yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian ini berupa data kualitatif yang dideskripsikan, yaitu: kreativitas siswa, produk siswa, aktivitas belajar siswa, angket penilaian siswa terhadap produk siswa lainnya dan angket tanggapan siswa terhadap model PBL, yang dideskripsikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kreativitas belajar siswa berkriteria “cukup kreatif” (68,14%) dalam perencanaan dan pembuatan produk, rata-rata produk yang dihasilkan berkriteria “bernilai” (62,53%), dan rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa berkriteria “cukup aktif” (64,89%). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa “cukup kreatif” merencanakan dan membuat produk daur ulang limbah dan “cukup aktif” dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL. Kata kunci :  aktivitas siswa, kreativitas siswa, model project based learning

Abstract

The aim of this study were to determine the quality and criteria of the subject of  School Exam Elementary. This research was qualitative research using documentation study. The subject of this study was the instrument of science school exam Elementary at School Year 2016/2017. The research instrument used assessment sheets and assessment rubrics. Data collection through documentation study by analyzing School Examination and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Research data was analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results showed that most of the school exam questions (75%) were LOTS type while less than half (25%) were HOTS types. Characteristics of School Examination items type of stimulus was less than half of images, while a small portion were tables, examples, and fragments of cases. It was found that (97.5%) items were in accordance with indicators of achievement of competence.Penelitian bertujuan menentukan kualitas dan kriteria butir soal US IPA SD Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan studi dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian adalah instrumen soal US IPA SD Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar penilaian dan rubrik penilaian. Pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi dengan menganalisis soal Ujian Sekolah dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan soal ujian sekolah sebagian besar (75%) bertipe LOTS sedangkan kurang dari setengah (25%) bertipe HOTS. Karakteristik butir soal Ujian Sekolah pada jenis stimulus kurang dari setengahnya berupa gambar, sedangkan sebagian kecil berupa tabel, contoh, dan penggalan kasus. Ditemukan bahwa hampir semua (97,5%) butir soal sesuai dengan indikator pencapaian kompetensi.Kata kunci: HOTS, LOTS, kesesuaian, stimulus

Abstract

The research objective was to produce students worksheets based on science process skill on sub material characteristic invertebrate phylum. Design of the research was research and development. Samples of the test were selected by purposive sampling. Results of the test worksheet showed on the average N-gain of science process skills of students in the experiment class was higher than the control class. Improvement of science process skills can also be seen from the analysis of students' answers of students worksheets that increase in each indicator of science process skills (observe, classify, interpret, communicate and concludes). Improvement of science process skills of the students worksheet 2 which was 57.82% more higher than the students worksheet 1 which was 40.43%. Student worksheets based on science process skills was interesting for most of the students with percentage of 75.35%. Thus students worksheets result of development was effectively improve students science process skill and can be used as learning source for teachers and students.Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan LKS berbasis KPS pada sub materi ciri filum hewan invertebrata. Desain penelitian adalah research and development. Sampel uji coba produk dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil uji coba terlihat pada rata-rata N-gain KPS siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Peningkatan KPS juga terlihat pada analisis jawaban siswa di LKS dilihat dari peningkatan rata-rata setiap indikator KPS (mengamati, mengelompokan, menginterpretasi, mengomunikasikan, dan menyimpulkan). Peningkatan KPS di LKS 2 (57,82%) lebih tinggi dari LKS 1 (40,43%). LKS berbasis KPS ini menarik bagi sebagian besar siswa dengan persentase sebesar 75,35%. Dengan demikian LKS hasil pengembangan efektif meningkatkan KPS siswa dan dapat dijadikan bahan ajar oleh guru dan siswa.Kata kunci: ciri filum hewan invertebata, KPS, LKS

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to increase the students activity and students result study, students perception on environment management subject matter with poster media through Student Team Achievement Division cooperative learning model. This research was aimed to find out the influence of the implementation of poster media in (STAD) type to improve the learning outcomes and students' learning activity on environment management subject matter. This research was experiment research. The sample were class VII A and VII D SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram, Central Lampung that was chosen by cluster random sampling technique. The research design was pretest-posttest non equivalen. Result study were student activity chapter 4 in table 10 activity in experiment class and control class. Based on the result of the students, it was known that the students were agreed and glad to use poster media in learning through cooperative learning model of STAD type.Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa serta tanggapan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA materi pokok pengelolaan lingkungan dengan menggunakan media poster melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIIA dan VII D SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Lampung Tengah yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain penelitian adalah pretest-postest non equivalen. Pada penelitian ini memperoleh hasil penilitian pada akivitas siswa memperoleh peningkatan yang sangat tinggi pada kelas eksperimen jika dibandingkan kelas kontrol, data belajar aktivitas siswa bisa dilihat pada bab 4 ditabel 10 aktivitas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui hasil yang diperoleh yaitu siswa sangat setuju dan merasa senang belajar menggunakan media poster melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, media poster, model STAD, pengelolaan lingkungan

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to which one is higher in students activity and learning result between NHT and TPS of the resistence body system material. The design of the research was pretest-postest of comparative group with purposive sampling, thus the students of class XI IPA1 and IPA2 SMA Negeri 2 Gadingrejo were choosen as the subjects. Quantitative data were obtained from the average value of pretest, postest and N-gain were analyzed by using u-test and t-test. Qualitative data were obtained from description of learning activities. The result of the research indicated that N-Gain of NHT (33,1) was higher than TPS (28,8). The improvement was shown on C2 indicator (54,8) and C3 (25,5). The average of students learning activities in all aspect (telling, cooperative, presentation, and responding) of NHT (59,13) have medium criteria and TPS (52,97) have low criteria. Thus, NHT was influenced not significantly to improve the activities and learning outcomes of students on immunity body system subject matter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa yang lebih tinggi antara NHT dengan TPS pada materi sistem pertahanan tubuh. Desain penelitian pretes-postes kelompok pembanding dengan purposive sampling sehingga kelas XI IPA1 dan XI IPA2 SMA Negeri 2 Gadingrejo sebagai subjek. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata pretes, postes, dan N-gain dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji-u. Data kualitatif berupa deskriptif aktivitas belajar. Hasil penelitian N-Gain NHT (33,1) lebih tinggi daripada TPS (28,8). Peningkatan terjadi pada indikator C2 (54,8) dan C3 (25,5). Rata-rata aktivitas belajar dalam semua aspek (mengemukakan, bekerjasama, mempresentasikan, dan merespon) kelas NHT (59,13) berkriteria sedang dan TPS (52,97) berkriteria rendah. Dengan demikian, NHT berpengaruh tidak signifikan meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pertahanan tubuh.
