Abstract

Investment is one of important variable to increase the economic performance. Moreover it can stimulate to increase per capita income and consuming ability of the society. A well investment climate given some benefits to the society. The local government is facing some problems in facing some challenge to increase the key factors to overcome those problems. In South Sumatera, the government does some efforts to attract the investor especially foreign direct investment. In the development of South Sumatera, foreign direct Investment has the important function. It is hoped that the investment has positive impact to increase the economic growth of the district which can increase the public welfare as well in South Sumatera. Key words: Investment, foreign direct investment

Abstract

Prof. M. Alwi Dahlan, Ph.D was the first Indonesian who became student of the founding fathers of communication science in USA. Alwi Dahlan got his degrees from USA. He received doctoral degree from University of Illinois, USA in 1967. He was a student of James W. Carey when he did his research for dissertation titled “Anonymous Disclosure of Government Information as Form of Political Communication”. Alwi Dahlan then came back to Indonesia and he was working in several institutions. He became important figure who promoted communication science in Indonesia. Department of Communication Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Brawijaya, especially by Komunitas Pengkaji Komunikasi (Community of  Communication Researchers), for the last three years has developing research areas, one of them was to do research about ideas of Alwi Dahlan (later will be written as AD). This paper will describe the results of the researches, in order to show the significance of AD’s ideas in communication science.

Abstract

The even semester 2014/2015 Technical Information Engineering University of Semarang (USM) has been running the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) in the management of learning. Conversions that occur in some subjects at an increase in scheduled meetings in the classroom or in the laboratory. Computer Networks is one of the subjects who experienced a conversion. In the curriculum in 2008, Computer Networking has a number of credits 3. From the 2 credits 3 credits are for credits 1 credits for theory and practical credits. While at the CBC in 2013, Computer Networking has 4 credits, with details of 2 credits 2 credits theory and practicum. As lecture and instructor Computer Network, researchers interested in studying the effect of applying the CBC in 2013 in the subje ct of Computer Network. Does the addition of meeting practical and theoretical material renewal in accordance with the expected competencies?. Researchers tried applying the CBC in 2013 by conducting action research. Implementation of the research was conducted during an ongoing lecture that even semester 2015/2016. The results of the study during the first half of researchers will compare with the achievements that never existed when the old curriculum still in use. The goals of this research is, subjects in the Computer Network has always been one of the subjects that the content of the material and its application in the lab was able to follow the needs of the workforce

Abstract

The Student attendance at the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication University of Semarang  is data that can support in academic activities. validity and realbility of the attendance data  become obstacles in academic activities. So, Required attendance system that can prevent the occurrence of cheating attendance, facilitate lecturers to recap student attendance and facilitate administrative staff to recap lecturers’s attendance. In this research, student attendance system is made with two platforms, there are web based platform and platform based on android. Restful web service with JSON format is used to build communication between both platforms. In the attendence system android based, QRCode's Reader is used to read student QRCode cards to save attendance data. student dan lecture attendance can be monitored through attendance system web based. The attendance system test is done by testing all of the features and complexity of the algorithm with cyclomatic complexity. The test results show that all features can be used without error and cyclomatic complexity value show that algorithm of the attendance system  is easy to understand, easy to test and easy to maintain.

Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan peduli remaja (PKPR) merupakan upaya pelayanan kesehatan yang ditujukan pada remaja. PKPR mulai dicanangkan oleh pemerintah sejak tahun 2003. Berdasarkan laporan kunjungan PKPR di puskesmas miroto selama tahun 2014, akses remaja sangatlah rendah hanya mencapai 3%.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya pemanfaatan PKPR oleh remaja di wilayah puskesmas Miroto Semarang.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan metode cross sectional dimana pengambilan data dilakukan dalam satu waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat bantu dalam pengambilan data. Sampel dilapangan dipilih secara random sederhana. Jumlah sampel adalah 100 remaja dari tiga SMA yang ada di wilayah kerja puskesmas Miroto Semarang.Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hanya 12% remaja yang pernah mengakses layanan PKPR di puskesmas Miroto. Tingkat pengetahuan tentang PKPR masih dalam kategori rendah, hanya 56% yang mempunyai pengetahuan baik. Terdapat 60% remaja yang mendukung adanya PKPR di puskesmas Mirotot. Dimana 58% remaja masih terpengaruh mengikuti teman sebayaanya dalam memanfaatkan PKPR. Peran petugas puskesmas sangat rendah yaitu 60% menyatakan petugas tidak aktif mensosialisaikan PKPR. Sedangkan sekolah sebesar 72% remaja menyatakan sekolah tidak aktif dalam sosialiasi PKPR. Faktor yang berhubungan sekaligus berpengaruh terhadap pemanfaatan PKPR oleh remaja adalah peran sekolah dalam mensosialisasikan PKPR di sekolah.Disarankan kepada petugas puskesmas untuk bekerjasama dengan pihak sekolah dalam meningkatkan sosialisasi PKPR kepada remaja. Serta sebagai upaya meningkatkan akses PKPR oleh remaja.Kata kunci       : PKPR, Remaja, Akses

Abstract

Lecturers are required to be able to analyze errors in working on the problem along with the causative factors. Through an analysis of errors in doing some exercises, it can be used as a basis in conducting the process of delivering material in the next learning. Through implementing true and mature concepts, students will not face difficulties in applying the material learned. Based on the observations, there are still many students who getdifficulties in doing the exercises of Education Statistics course. Besides, students of Universitas Terbuka in Kaliwungu 2017.2 are lack of learning outcomes in education statistics courses, 2). many students, but do notapply it in learning , 3). Many students do not pass the Education Statistics course. Based on these problems, it is necessary to conduct research related to the analysis of student’s errors and the causal factors in solving the Satistika Education problem. The purpose of this study is to find out the errors and causal factors in solving the questions in the Educational Statistics material. The subject of this research is UT students Semarang 2018.1 in Pokjar in Boja Subdistrict, Kendal Regency. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. Based on the analysis of student’s errors in the Education Statistics subject, conclusions are obtained 1). There are 4 student errors, namely: a). conceptual error, b). procedural error, c). Computation / calculation errors, and d).Errors in drawing conclusions; 2). The most mistakes of the students happened on procedural errors; 3). Abstract

Teknologi komputer memegang peran yang sangat penting bagi perkembangan disegala bidang. Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat sangat mempengaruhi kinerja sebuah perusahaan, karena waktu dapat dimanfaatkan dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi komputer berupa sistem pendataan penduduk disuatu desa terutama pada proses pendataan Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP), Kartu Keluarga (KK), Surat Kelahiran, Surat Kematian, dan Surat Keterangan Pindah yang memerlukan kecermatan dan ketelitian tinggi. Sehingga dalam waktu yang singkat pembuatan laporan pendataan penduduk tersebut diatas dapat meminimalkan kesalahan yang mungkin terjadi dan dapat memberikan laporan secara cepat dan tepat.Sistem informasi pendataan penduduk pada Kantor Kepala Desa Ujungrusi akan sangat membantu instansi pemerintah tersebut dalam melakukan pendataan penduduk dalam ruang lingkup sebuah desa. Dimana sistem ini akan melakukan proses pendataan seiring dengan proses pengajuan surat-surat kependudukan oleh setiap penduduk yang datang ke kantor kepala desa. Dengan demikian data kependudukan dapat diperoleh dengan mudah tanpa harus melakukan pendatan secara langsung ke tempat penduduk tersebut tinggal.Adanya suatu sistem terkomputerisasi dalam pendataan penduduk pada Kantor Kepala Desa Ujungrusi akan dapat mempermudah pencatatan dan pengolahan data surat-surat kependudukan, mengurangi kesalahan dalam pencatatan maupun pengolahan data surat-surat kependudukan dan menghasilkan laporan kependudukan berdasarkan kategori tertentu sesuai yang dibutuhkan.

Abstract

Synthesis of 2-(3'-hydroxybenzylidene)cyclohexanone via Claisen-Schmidt reaction between 3-hydroxybenzaldehyde and cyclohexanone used MAOS method has been done. The aim of this research was determined the yield of the 2-(3'-hydroxybenzylidene)cyclohexanone and identified the side product. 2-(3'-hydroxybenzylidene)cyclohexanone compound was sythesized through Claisen-Schmidt reaction between 3-hydroxybenzaldehyde and cyclohexanone. Synthesis of 2-(3'-hydroxybenzylidene)cyclohexanone used NaOH as catalyst by MAOS method for 500 seconds. The synthesis product were identified using TLC, TLC scanner, FTIR, and GCMS. Result of this research show that the yield of 2-(3'-hydroxybenzylidene)-cyclohexanone is 7.37%. The side product are 2-cyclohexylidenecyclohexanone and 2-(3'-hydroxy-benzylidene)-6-cyclohexylidenecyclohexanone.

Abstract

Isolation of vanilin from vanili fruit by two method; maseration and Soxhlet using ethylacetate, ethanol and chloroform solvents has been investigated. Extraction result was hydrolized using sodium hydroxide by acidification using chloride acid. Filtrate was extracted by using chloroform and the targeted vanilin was separated by evaporation. Putrification was enganged by rechrystallization using aquadest-ethanol. Elucidation to the compound structure was performed by FTIR spectrophotometer, H-NMR, C-NMR, HMQC and HMBC. It is noted that vanilin isolation by soxhletazion procedure was more effective compared to maseration. Ethylacetate was more effective solvent than chloroform and conversely ethanol is inefective for the isolation.   Keywords: vanilin isolation, soxhlet isolation, maseration
