Abstract

This research aims to develop a medium of learning physics ludo game of the subject of the circular motion. One of the problems of education is the lack of facilities and infrastructure, so that teachers are required creative in improving the quality of learning in class, such as developing learning media. One interesting learning media and boredom of students in learning activities that game-based learning, such as the application of instructional media ludo game.The method used is research and development are adopting from Borg and Gall which has been modified by Sugiyono of 10 stages to 7 stages. The collection of data used in this study a questionnaire given to subject matter experts, media specialists, classroom teachers and learners class X. The resulting data type is qualitative data and quantitative data to determine the feasibility of product research and development resulted in physics teaching media in the form of the game ludo valid to be used based on those ratings of validator penilaian82,2% gain material experts, media expert validator obtained 93.70% votes, ratings teachers gained 82.76% votes. Assessment test responses of participants trained in small groups obtain a percentage value of 86.69% and uiji field trials of each school (I) 84.50% (II) 81.12%, (III) of 82.67%, which means that the media can be accepted by learners. Keywords: games, Ludo, learning media, physics learning DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpf.v7.n1.201903

Abstract

Multi representasi adalah model yang mempresentasi ulang konsep yang sama dalam beberapa format yang berbeda-beda. Beberapa bentuk representasi dalam fisika bisa berupa kata, gambar, diagram, grafik, simulasi komputer, persamaan matematika dan sebagainya. Multi representasi dapat membantu pembelajar dalam mempelajari dan membangun suatu konsep dan mengatasi permasalahan, membantu dalam memecahkan masalah, serta membantu untuk menyikapi masalah. Berbagai studi mengenai multi representasi menunjukkan bahwa ternyata multi representasi sangat penting untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Bahkan, ada ada usulan agar multi representasi dimasukkan ke dalam kurikulum pembelajaran fisika lanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan men­deskripsikan seberapa besar pengaruh strategi pembelajaran TTW pada peserta didik kelas VIII MTs Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Control Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian terbagi dalam dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan pembelajaran dengan strategi TTW sementara kelas kontrol menggunakan strategi pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa kelas eksperimen diperoleh N-gain sebesar 0,609 sementara untuk kelas kontrol diperoleh N-gain sebesar 0,561.Kata kunci: prestasi belajar, strategi belajar, think talk write.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing a conceptual instruction worksheet on the material of the photoelectric effect for high school students. This research method is Design Research that produces products in the form of worksheets for students to construct the concept about photoelectric effect, so as to assist students in understanding the influence of the wavelength of the photoelectric effect and understand the influence of the type of metal used to the wavelength when the photoelectric effect occurs. After going through the validation experts who assess the content and the interface, then the products are developed tested to the user to determine the respons. By teachers and students, the products gain value with good criteria and otherwise practical for use in the classroom, also make students and teachers interesting with the product.Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja instruksi konseptual pada materi efek fotolistrik untuk siswa SMA. Metode penelitian ini adalah Design Research yang menghasilkan produk berupa lembar kerja untuk mengkonstruksi konsep siswa terhadap efek fotolistrik, sehingga dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami pengaruh panjang gelombang terhadap efek fotolistrik dan memahami pengaruh jenis logam yang digunakan terhadap panjang gelombang saat efek fotolistrik terjadi. Setelah melalui validasi ahli yang menilai isi dan antarmuka, kemudian produk yang dikembangkan diujikan kepada pengguna untuk mengetahui respons kepraktisan dan kemenarikkan. Oleh guru dan siswa, produk mendapatkan nilai dengan kriteria baik, dinyatakan praktis untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran, dan menarik minat guru dan juga siswa.

Abstract

The development of internet users in Indonesia is very rapid. In the last five years the number of internet users increased by 430%. By the end of 2015, internet users in Indonesia have reached 88.1 million people. As many as 90% of internet users are social media users. Based on statistical reports there are about 92% of social media users aged between 13-39 years old. That means that there are about 73 million social media users who have the potential to popularize the content of Islamic science in social media. Islamic science was born out of the spirit of Muslim scientists and academics to integrate Islam and science / science. There is some content of Islamic science that can be packed in social media: 1) Content of science in Islam, 2) Content of Muslim inventors 3) Content review of the latest findings in Islamic view, 3) Content wise words of the Scientists.Perkembangan pengguna internet di Indonesia sangat pesat. Dalam lima tahun terakhir jumlah pengguna internet meningkat sebesar 430%. Pada akhir 2015, pengguna internet di Indonesia telah mencapai 88,1 juta orang. Sebanyak 90% pengguna internet adalah pengguna media sosial. Berdasarkan laporan statistik ada sekitar 92% pengguna media sosial berusia antara 13-39 tahun. Itu berarti ada sekitar 73 juta pengguna media sosial yang berpotensi mempopulerkan konten sains Islam di media sosial. Sains Islam lahir dari semangat ilmuwan dan akademisi Muslim untuk mengintegrasikan Islam dan sains/sains. Ada beberapa konten sains Islam yang bisa dikemas dalam media sosial: 1) Konten sains dalam Islam, 2) Konten penemu Muslim 3) Kajian isi temuan terbaru dalam pandangan Islam, 3) Konten kata-kata bijak dari Ilmuwan. Kata kunci: media sosial, sains Islam

Abstract

Science process skills are the basis for the foundation of logical thinking. Therefore science process skills (KPS) need to be owned by students. The purpose of this study, is to see the effectiveness of using SLH (Susan Loucks-Horsley) learning models in terms of science process skills (KPS) for grade VIII students on the subject of light and optical devices. The subjects of this study were 61st grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas with 61 students. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a non equivalent control group. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research data were obtained by using descriptive questions and observation sheets for the science process skills. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the research results can be concluded that the use of the SLH (Susan Loucks-horsley) learning model is effective in improving students' science process skills. The application of the SLH model can be used as a solution to improve science process skills, because the SLH model starts from a context that motivates students to use their initial knowledge, then learners learn in groups to learn the material independently.

Abstract

The process of physics learning in MAN (Islamic senior high school) 2 Bandar Lampung which is still teacher-centered causes students to have low critical thinking skills. One learning model that can be used to overcome this problem is the Active Learning Based Interactive Conceptual Instructions (ALBICI) model which is equipped with Predict, Discuss, Explain, Observe, Discuss, Explore, Explain Tasks (PDEODE*E tasks). The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the ALBICI model with PDEODE*E tasks in improving students’ critical thinking skills on momentum and impulses subject material. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with 30 students of the class X1 as the experimental class and 30 students of class X2 as the control class. The results of data analysis using t-test at a significance level of 0.05 indicate that the ALBICI model with PDEODE*E tasks iseffective in improving students’ critical thinking skills. Furthermore, theobtainedeffect size of 0.6 indicates that the model's effectiveness falls into the medium category.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model and its impact on the students creative problem-solving ability. The study was conducted on eighth-grade students of Junior High School 24 (SMPN 24) Bandar Lampung, Indonesia, on the Substances Pressure subject matter. This is quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The independent sample t-test showed that the SSCS model influences the students creative problem-solving ability, of which the experimental class is higher than the control class. Furthermore, the results of the effect size obtained the d value of 2.39, indicating the SSCS learning model is effective for the students' creative problem-solving ability which belongs to the high category.

Abstract

This study aims to find and describe how much influence of generative learning models in class VIII students MTs Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The research method used quasi experiment with  Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The research sample is divided into two classes, namely experimental and control class. The learning in experimental class uses a generative learning model while the control class uses the conventional learning model. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the understanding of learners concept using generative learning model is higher compared with the understanding of learners concept using conventional learning model. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan men­deskripsikan seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran generatif pada peserta didik kelas VIII MTs Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terbagi dalam dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran generatif sementara kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran generatif lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video blog (vlog) berbantuan kanal YouTube sebagai alternatif pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan STEM. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dari Borg and Gall. Kelayakan produk dilakukan dengan melakukan validasi pada ahli materi dan ahli media. Setelah itu, peneliti melakukan uji kemenarikan produk kelompok kecil kepada 30 peserta didik dari beberapa sekolah SMA/MA yang ada di Provinsi Lampung dan uji coba lapangan oleh 120 peserta didik untuk melihat respon peserta didik. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan produk berupa video blog (vlog) channel YouTube dengan pendekatan STEM. Berdasarkan hasil validasi produk, diperoleh persentase hasil penilaian ahli media 84 %, ahli materi 84 %, dan penilaian ahli IT 72 %. Respon siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh persentase 87 % dan uji coba lapangan 83 %. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video blog channel Youtube dengan pendekatan STEM layak digunakan sebagai media alternatif pembelajaran daring untuk peserta didik sekolah SMA/MA.
