Abstract

The background of this research is management of the Muara Enim Regency Sepaktakraw Team, whose achievements have not improved in several years. The purpose of this study is to find out the planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling of the management team for the coaching of sepaktakraw achievement in Muara Enim Regency. This research used a qualitative approach untuk menganalisis planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. The research instrument used observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects are administrators, coaches, athletes, and documentation of the Muara Enim Regency Sepaktakraw Team. The data analysis technique consist of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study are that the planning system for management, human resources, training programs, funding, and infrastructure has been structured and appropriated. The organizational system in management, training programs, funding, facilities, and infrastructure has been effective, but in human resources, there are still problems in recruiting athletes. The implementation system, management, training program, funding, and infrastructure have been implemented as they should, but in human resources, the achievement has not improved significantly. The supervisory system of management, human resources, training programs, funding, facilities, and infrastructure has been monitored regularly by the management and KONI of Muara Enim Regency. The conclusions of this study that aspects of planning and supervision are in the good category, while aspects of organizing and implementation are in the poor category, so the management has to improve the aspects that are not good to achieve great performance.

Abstract

The reason for this study is that the length of the swimming training track at the Fish Aquatic Club and Mutiara Swimming Club is different. The purpose of this study was to ascertain the following: 1) to determine the effect of the swimming track's length of 25 and 35 meters on the results of breaststroke swimming. 2) examine the effect of high and low emotional intelligence on breaststroke swimming results. 3). investigated the effect of track length and emotional intelligence on breaststroke swimming performance. This research was using a two-by-two factorial design. The study population comprised twenty sons and twenty daughters from Mutiara swimming club and Fish Aquatic, with an average age of twelve years. The study was conducted between February 15 and 14, 2021. The Anova test revealed that the 35 meter track length (M = 29,72 second) had a significantly greater effect on swimming results than the 25 meter track length (M = 51,25 second), (F(1.36) = 260.178, p0.001, p2 = 0.878). There was a significant effect of high emotional intelligence (M = 35.19 second) swimming results (F (1, 36) = 63.030, p0.001, p2 = 0.636) compared to low emotional intelligence (M = 45,79 second). Track length and emotional intelligence have an effect on breaststroke swimming results (F(1.36) = 6.568, p0.015, p2 = 0.154). 15.4 percent of the variance in swimming exercise results. The findings of this study showed that there was a significant relationship between track length and emotional intelligence and breaststroke swimming performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat member Gardenia Fitness center terhadap program penurunan lemak (fat loss) dan pembentukan otot tubuh (body building). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan menggunakan angket. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah member Gardenia Fitness center Semarang. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 40 member Gardenia Fitness center Semarang.Sampel penelitian diambil dengan metode accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa nilai yang paling besar mempengaruhi minat member Gardenia Fitness Center adalah fat loss. Disimpulkan bahwa minat member fitness terhadap program Latihan fat loss pada kategori sangat tinggi.

Abstract

One of the benefits from students exchange program is to learn a foreign language. In the Faculty of Sports Science, UNNES, most students going abroad all-around Southeast Asia which English is the medium of instruction between countries. Thus, the exchange program were likely helped to motivate them to learn English. However, limited studies have discussed the English learning motivation of students who have been studying abroad. This study aims to explain the students’ motivation to learn English after being exposed to the exchange experience. The study explains their motivation in two domains: intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. It is descriptive quantitative research with a set of questionnaires as the primary source of data supported by interviews as the secondary data. The subjects of this study are 37 students from 4 majors; sports science (12), public health (11), physical education (7), and coaching education (7) which consisted of 20 females and 17 males, under the Faculty of Sports Science, UNNES who experienced the exchange programs between 2018-2019. The study found that personal belief on the importance of English to upgrade self-capacity, followed by practical practice of independent study to upgrade English performance, are the intrinsic motivational factors embraced by the exchange students. Furthermore, the exchange students’ view of the importance of English for their future career and the positive opinion from their environment on the people who can speak English have extrinsically motivated them to learn English. Future study needs to involve bigger participants by comparing those exchange and non-exchange students and examine the role of motivation toward the student's learning performance.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to find out how are the conservation efforts, the human resources, the facilities and infrastructure, the process of obtaining the funding and the role of the government/stakeholders in preserving and improving the performance of the traditional sport named Sumpitan. This research is a descriptive qualitative with ethnographic design which using critical ethnography type. The data were collected using interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of this research include administrators, coaches, athletes and supporting staff, Department of Youth, Sport and Tourism, Department of Education, Indonesian Sport and Recreation Committee (KORMI), Indonesian Traditional Games and Sport Committee (KPOTI) of Samarinda City. The validity of the data was done by implementing some steps including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and draw conclusion. There are several results of the research. Firstly, the Government of the Samarinda City rarely holds Sumpitan traditional sport events, coaching and improvement which have not been included in the local content curriculum of elementary, junior and senior high schools. Next, lack of attention dealing with funding and infrastructure support thus the operational costs use donations from community members. The minimum number of administrators, coaches, and regeneration of new athletes. The last is the lack of public awareness of the improvement and preservation in the implementation of cultural activities or traditional sports Sumpitan. the conclusions of this study are involvement that are not yet optimal, Lack of human resources, there is a change in culture, socio-cultural shift.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between anxiety, self-confidence, and motivation to the performance of the referees of volleyball associations throughout Indonesia, West Nusa Tenggara province. This study uses a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The population is 45 referees, sampling using total sampling. The research variable was the performance of the volleyball referee as the dependent variable and anxiety, self-confidence, and motivation as the independent variables. The data analysis technique used a linearity test and product-moment correlation. The results of this study are 1) a low relationship between anxiety and the performance of volleyball referees. 2) moderate relationship between confidence and the performance of volleyball referees. 3) a strong relationship between motivation and the performance of volleyball referees. 4) moderate relationship between anxiety and self-confidence with the performance of volleyball referees. 5) a strong relationship between self-confidence and motivation with the performance of volleyball referees. 6) a strong relationship between anxiety and motivation with the performance of volleyball referees. 7) a strong relationship between anxiety, self-confidence and motivation with the performance of volleyball referees. The conclusion of this study is to increase the confidence of referees through training programs in the psychological (mental) realm that are integrated into the training program with an understanding of the rules of the game regularly. This effort is made to improve the quality of the performance of volleyball referees.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of passing and dribbling, the impact of high and low eye-foot coordination, the result of passing and dribble control with eye-foot coordination, and the interaction between training methods and eye-eye coordination. Foot on the ability to dribble and control football Quasi-experimental method with 2x2 factorial design. The results of this study: 1) There is a significant difference in the effect of the small-sided game's method with the ladder sprint passing target method on the dribbling, passing and control of SSB Academy R19 Kendal U-15 players in 2022. So that the target practice of passing ladder sprint is better in improving dribbling, skills passing and control. 2) There are significant differences in dribbling, passing and controlling SSB Academy R19 Kendal U-15 players in 2022 who have high and low eye-foot coordination. So high eye-foot coordination is better in improving dribbling, passing and control abilities. 3) There is no significant interaction between training (small-sided game and ladder sprint passing target) and eye-foot coordination on dribbling, passing and control of SSB Academy R19 Kendal U 15 players in 2022.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the main thing to pay attention to is maintaining health, one of which is jogging. Jogging is a simple sport usually done by the community. GOR Tri Competition Juang facilities from the government as a free sports venue. The purpose of this study was to find out the community's motivation for jogging during the pandemic at the Tri Lomba Juang GOR, Semarang city. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection is simple random sampling, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The target of this research is the people of Semarang city doing jogging activities on the athletic field of the Tri Competition Juang GOR. The results of the research on the motivation of the people of the city of Semarang towards jogging during the Covid-19 pandemic came from intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Higher intrinsic factor, respondents were motivated from within to jog during the pandemic. While extrinsic factors are lower because of encouragement from family and friends. The public's understanding of the benefits of jogging during a pandemic is explained for health during a pandemic such as increasing endurance, body immunity, and avoiding stress during the Covid-19 pandemic. The conclusion of the study is that the motivation of the people of Semarang to jogging during the Covid-19 pandemic is that the intrinsic factor is higher than the extrinsic factor. Public understanding of the benefits of jogging during a pandemic for body health and coping with stress.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan Zig-zag Run dan latihan split squat jump terhadap kemampuan tendangan sabit dan tendangan depan pada pencak silat. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan pre-experimental, dengan desain one group pretest-postest. Jumlah sampel penelitian 20 atlet pencak silat Persaudaraan Setia Hati Cabang Demak. Analisis data menggunakan statistik uji-t dengan taraf signifikasi α 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai t teabel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 2,093. Sedangkan nilai t hitung pada kategori tendangan depan kanan yaitu16,840 dan tendangan depan kiri memperoleh t hitung 9,378. Nilai t hitung pada tendangan sabit kanan yaitu 9,997 dan tendangan sabit kiri memperoleh t hitung 7,723. Nilai t hitung yang diperoleh dari semua kategori menunjukan bahwa T hitung > T table yang artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara pre-test dan post-test. Kesimpulan bahwa latihan Zig-zag Run dan latihan split squat jump berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan tendangan sabit dan tendangan depan pada atlet pencak silat.Kata kunci: Pencak Silat, Split Squat Jump, Tendangan, Zig-Zag Run
