Abstract

OlehRina Septiani1605874Penguasaan konsep pada pembelajaran masih sangat rendah di sekolah dasar untuk mengetahui konsep. Penguasaan konsep dapat diukur melalui tes atau ulangan harian yang menjadikannya sebagai patokan penilaian. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan goals penguasaan konsep utuk mengetahui seberapa jauh siswa memahami dan mengerti tentang penguasaan konsep. Subject penelitian yang dilakukan pada peelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bulak kecamatan Arjawinangun Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan tes uraian peguasaan konsep materi siklus air untuk instrument. Pada hasil penelitian yang diperoleh terdapat tiga kelompok yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, yang pertama menggunakan paham konsep, kedua miskonsepsi, dan ketiga tidak paham konsep. paham konsep siswa dapat paham apa yang telah dilihat pada tes uraian dan mengetahui jawaban, untuk miskonsepsi siswa ketika ingin menjawab pertanyaan pada tes uraian dari hasil jawaban siswa menjawab benar akan tetapi dalam pernyataan yang ditulis siswa memilih jawaban ragu-ragu atau tidak yakin atau pada miskonsepsi siswa menuliskan jawaban salah tetapi pada pernyataan siswa menjawab yakin, tidak paham konsep artinya siswa benar-benar tidak mengetahui jawaban yang terdapat pada butir soal. Untuk mengetahui siswa termasuk kedalam tiga kategori tersebut peneliti menggunakan pembelajaran melalui dalam jaringan (daring) dengan aplikasi WhatsApp Group. Hasil jawaban yang dilalukan dalam uji tes uraian pada siswa secara daring melalui WhatsApp Group maka diperoleh 47% siswa miskonsepsi, 37% siswa paham konsep dan 16% siswa tidak paham konsep.

Abstract

Sains learning is one of the processes in the formation of student behavior that leads the students to be competent in solving problems in a scientific process. Therefore, students must have creative thinking skills. However, student's creative thinking skills are still relatively low, so that project based learning is used. The purpose of this research is to know implementation of project based learning to creative thinking skills. The reserch design is quasi experiment by using nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research is all of students in grade V on all of Kramatmulya subdistrict. The sampling skills in this research is using purposive sampling technique with SDN II Ragawacana as experimental class and SDN Pajambon as control class. The instrument in this research is using tests in the form of tests of creative thinking skills and non tests in the form of observation of teacher performance, observation of student activities and field notes. Based on the results of the reserch can be know that project based learning has a positive effect on improving student's creative thinking skills significantly, with an average gain of 0,329. While in conventional learning, an average gain of 0,150. So that, the project based learning is better than conventional learning in improving student's creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of problem-based learning to critical thinking of Class V elementary school students on water cycle material. The population of this study was the fifth grade students of the Public Elementary School in Sedong Subdistrict, Cirebon Regency with a total of 21 schools with the research sample of SDN 1 Panongan and SDN 1 Panongan Lor in class V because the design used was quasi-experimental. Based on the results of the study concluded that problem-based learning can improve students' critical thinking on water cycle material significantly; Conventional learning in water cycle material can significantly improve students' critical thinking; and There is a difference in the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in a significant water cycle material between problem-based learning and conventional learning, which occurs because problem-based learning is significantly better with an average gain of 0.323 compared to conventional learning with an average gain of 0.176. Therefore problem-based learning is better than conventional learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kreatif sebagai keterampilan 4C abad 21 dan penguasaan konsep siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran, berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep siswa sebelum dan setelah melalui model pembelajaran RADEC berbasis Whatsapp group. Partisipan penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Cilengkrang di Kecamatan Sumedang Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui model pembelajaran RADEC berbasis Whatsapp group. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes essay berpikir kreatif dan penguasaan konsep. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil: (1) Proses pembelajaran setelah melalui model RADEC berbasis Whatsapp group lebih efektif dari sebelumnya. (2) Berpikir kreatif setelah melalui model RADEC berbasis Whatsapp group mengalami peningkatan dari yang sebelumnya ada tiga (15%) siswa tergolong “Sangat Kreatif” menjadi empat belas (70%) siswa. (3) Penguasaan konsep setelah melalui model RADEC berbasis Whatsapp group mengalami peningkatan sebelumnya ada empat (20%) siswa tergolong “Paham Konsep” menjadi tiga belas (65%) siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sains pada sekolah dasar masih jarang yang mengkaitkan konsep Sains dengan kehidupan nyata atau lingkungan sekitar sehingga pembelajaran menjadi tidak bermakna. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah serta mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan literasi siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol tidak ekuivalen. Populasi penelitian berasal dari seluruh siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Palasah, Kabupaten Majalengka. Sampel yang terpilih adalah SDN Waringin II (eksperimen), dan SDN Palasah I (kontrol). Variabel bebas adalah pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan variabel terikat adalah kemampuan literasi sains. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes kemampuan literasi sains, angket, observasi, dan wawancara, Simpulan penelitian yang diperoleh, yaitu : 1) Pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan literasi sains siswa 2) Pembelajaran konvensional dapat meningkatkan literasi sains siswa 3) Pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional 4) Terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan literasi sains siswa laki-laki dan perempuan, dengan kemampuan literasi sains perempuan lebih baik dibandingkan siswa laki-laki.

Abstract

Level of elementary school is assumed as the most basic level for beginning doing everything. In a school commonly students just focus on cognitif aspect including ecosystem material. Truthfully, there is afective aspect which can be implemented in ecosystem material as one of scientific attitude in science it is care attitude toward environment through learning based on project in ecosystem material. That;s all, it is elaborated in developing care attitude toward environment to the fifth grade students through learning based on project in ecosystem material. The objective of this study is to know development of care attitude toward environment to the fifth grade students in through learning based on project in ecosystem material. This research uses approach of qualitative research with descriptive method. And the research design that the writer used is qualitative description. The subject of this research is fifth grade students in SDN Cilimbangan, Cimalaka district. Technique of sample is non probability sampling and purposive sampling. The instruments that the writer used are questionnaire of care attitude, list of checklist, and note of field. The conclusion of this research is development of care attitude toward environment to the fifth grade students in SDN Cilimbangan after project-based learning in the ecosystem material shows positive development, both of stable or progressive development.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian setelah dilakukan pembelajaran selama satu kali pertemuan maka hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa pada pembelajaran berbasis whatsapp group meningkat. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil nilai posttest siswa yang memahami konsep, miskonsep, tidak memahami konsep. Kelompok siswa yang memahami konsep sebanyak 18 siswa, sedangkan siswa dan yang tidak memahami ada 5 siswa. Dari hasil wawancara pun bahwa pembelajaran online kurang efektivitas karena masih ada siswa yang kurang paham dalam materi tersebut. Ketuntasan pada pemahaman konsep siswa sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran sudah mencapai KKM. Dapat dilihat dari hasil posttest siswa. Dari jumlah seluruh siswa yang mengikuti posttest sebanyak 23 orang sudah mencapai di atas KKM terdapat 20 siswa (86,9%) sisanya 3 siswa ( 13,4%) mencapai KKM.

Abstract

The conventional learning methods have always been applied to science learning that makes students passive so that their thinking process becomes slow and not creative. Project-based learning is an alternative learning model that is suitable for use in science learning. This study realized to increase students' understanding and creative thinking skills in science learning, especially ecosystem component materials. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained in this study are the implementation of project-based learning using the zoom application is very popular and fosters enthusiasm for learning for students, there is an increase in students' understanding of the ecosystem component material where the pretest results show 73% of students do not meet the criteria while the posttest results from 87% of students get a good category. In addition, the products made by students show that project-based learning can improve students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to see ability master concepts and scientific attitudes of students that arise through the application of the Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create (RADEC) learning model. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The participants in this study consisted of 15 fifth grade students in an elementary school in South Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency. The data was collected through observations on the implementation of learning which included teacher performance, observations on student activities, observations of scientific attitudes and tests of students' conceptual mastery abilities. Observations are carried out during learning process, while student ability tests are given at the beginning and end learning, then analyzed through data reduction, presentation and conclusions. From this research, the results obtained are that the implementation of learsning given the treatment of the RADEC learning model carried out online effectively through the Zoom application, Mastery of students' concepts is well achieved as evidenced, and all these scientific attitudes emerge and can foster good self-efficacy which has positive values after being given the RADEC learning.

Abstract

The background of this research is the author’s interest in mastery concepts and scientific attitudes in elementary school. However, the fact is mastery concepts and scientific attitudes of students are still very low. The application of the RADEC model in learning activities is one of the new breakthroughs that can be made in order to increasing mastery concepts and growing up scientific attitudes. RADEC learning is directing students to construct their understanding independently through learning syntaxs that must be done systematically. The purpose of this research is to know the learning process using the RADEC model, mastery concepts of students and the scientific attitudes that appear in students during the learning activities through zoom meetings. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Respondents in this study were fifth grade students of SDN Sukaraja I. This study uses concept mastering questions and observation guidelines instruments. The results showed that: (1) The process of implementing RADEC learning was very effective. (2) Concepts mastering of students has increased after doing RADEC learning where all students have mastered the concept of “Benda dan Perubahannya” materials. (3) The scientific attitude that appears in students is the attitude of responsibility, accuracy, curiosity, critical thinking and cooperation. The five scientific attitudes continue to increase in percentage at each stage. The implication of this research is to make a practical contribution that the application of the RADEC learning model in learning activities can improve students' mastery concepts and scientific attitudes.
