Abstract

This research is in the background behind the learning method used by the fifth grade teacher of SDN Cluster X in Narmada Subdistrict in the learning process which is still centered on the teacher as the informer. This type of research is an experimental study which aims to determine the effect of the 5E learning cycle model on the learning outcomes of science students of class V SDN Cluster X Narmada Subdistrict 2018/2019 academic year. This study uses an experimental quantitative method, a type of quasi experimental type of nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN Cluster X of Narmada Subdistrict, amounting to 137 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique with a sample of 48 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests and observations. Data analysis methods used t-test with prerequisite test, namely normality test and data homogeneity test. After analyzing the data obtained the results of tcount 3.596>2.020 ttable at the significance level of 5%, so, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the 5E learning cycle model on science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN Cluster X Narmada Subdistrict 2018/2019 Academic Year. Based on t polled variance (tcount), the effect size of the 5E learning cycle model for the students' learning outcomes of science students of class V SDN Cluster X Narmada Subdistrict 2018/2019 academic year was 21.9%..

Abstract

This study is an experimental research which aims to determine the effect of learning model of picture and picture use media puzzle on the learning outcomes of science students of grade V SDN 3 Beleka sub district in academic year of 2018/2019. The method used in this research is quasi experimental design with the design nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling such as saturated sampling. Population in this research are 66 students of class V SDN 3 Beleka, the VA class student as experiment class and the VB as control class. The learning result data (posttest) was tested for normality with chi-square and then tested its homogeneity using the largest variance ratio and the smallest variance, the test showed that the data were normal and homogeneous distributed. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by using the t-test (separated variance). obtained tcount of 3,43 and ttable of 1.9987 with 5% significant level. The explanation shows that thitung is bigger than ttable so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that there is influence of learning model of picture and picture use media puzzle on the learning outcomes of science students of grade V SDN 3 Beleka academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the PhET simulation-assisted project-based learning model on students' ability to master the concept of elasticity.  The type of research used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group design.  The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Wanasaba East Lombok, totaling 142 students.  The research sample was taken using purposive sampling, so that 31 students were selected in class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and 31 students in XI IPA 1 as the control class.  The independent variable in this study was the PhET simulation-assisted project-based learning model used in the experimental class, while the ability to master the concept became the control variable.  The instrument used to measure the students' mastery of the concept is a test instrument in the form of a description test on the material elasticity of 6 questions.  The results of the pre-test data analysis showed that the students' initial knowledge was almost the same, but after being given treatment, the average post-test score of the experimental class was 79.22 and that of the control class was 72.64.  The results of the t test using the Independent Sample T test on the post-test showed a significance (2 tailed) less than 0.050, so it can be concluded that the project-based learning model assisted by the PhET simulation has an effect on students' ability to master the concept of elasticity.

Abstract

This research aims to produce valid and practical learning products for physics education. The developed learning products consist of interactive multimedia based on Android, lesson plans (RPP), and test instruments for the topic of elasticity in physics. This study follows a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapting the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan. The research stages include defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The research subjects were 32 students in grade XI. Data collection techniques involved validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest sheets for assessing conceptual understanding. The validation results indicate that the learning products fall under high validity. The average scores of expert and practitioner validators were 3.49 and 3.67 for interactive multimedia based on Android, 3.48 and 3.69 for the lesson plans, and 3.38 and 3.81 for the test instruments, respectively. The analysis of the response questionnaires showed that the products were convenient, with an average percentage of 82.27%. Therefore, the developed learning products are valid and highly practical for secondary school physics activities.

Abstract

This training activity aims to improve the competence of teachers at Public Junior High School 3 Batukliang, Central Lombok Regency in the field of writing scientific papers. This activity is carried out in three stages. The stages involved in solving this problem are the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of the training showed that the teachers who attended were very enthusiastic about following and observing what was explained by the community service team regarding the models and strategies taught in class to compile them into a scientific work. In addition, the training participants wanted the training activities to be sustainable.

Abstract

Currently and in the future, tourism is expected to make the biggest contribution to increasing the country's foreign exchange in the government's efforts to realize people's welfare and prosperity. One form of tourism product as a derivative of the concept of sustainable tourism development is the concept of ecotourism development. This study aims to map the research that has been carried out related to ecotourism in Indonesia. Data were obtained from scientific papers published on Google Scholar from 2010-2022 and there were 985 published scientific papers consisting of 968 from journals, 16 from proceedings, and 11 from books. Bibliometric analysis was carried out using the Vos Viewer application. The results of the study show that Indonesia has many tourist areas that can be developed into ecotourism areas, and these can be used as objects of research on ecotourism, but during the last 10 years research has only been conducted in a few areas. In addition, research on the same thing is often carried out in different research locations. This is the weakness of research on ecotourism in Indonesia. Thus, it is concluded that there are still many areas and keywords that are different and related to the concept of ecotourism which can be used as research subjects in Indonesia. research on the same thing is often done with different research locations. Abstract

This development research aims to produce a product in the form of a learning tool for the Advance Organizer model that is feasible, practical and effective to use to improve students' physics learning outcomes. The products produced in this development research include syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets and test instruments. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model design consisting of 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Data collection techniques used validation sheets, response questionnaire based and test sheets. The validation sheet is used to determine the validity of the learning device seen from the validation results by the validator. Response questionnaire sheets are used to determine the practicality of learning devices. The test sheet is used to determine the effectiveness of learning devices based on the pretest and posttest scores of students. The results obtained through data collection were 88.4% and 95.7% in the valid and reliable categories, 91.3% in the very practical category and 0.71 in the fairly effective category. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the learning tools developed are valid, practical and effective to be used to improve students' physics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study is aimed to investigate the effect of Learning Cycle 7E model on the physics problem-solving abilities (PSA) of students. This study is an experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The population is all students of class X MIPA SMAN 3 Selong. The sampling technique was purposive sampling in which class X MIPA 4 class as the experimental class and X MIPA 1 as the control class. The experimental class was treated with Learning Cycle 7E model, while the control class was given a conventional learning. Before and after being treated, both classes were given a PSA test which amounted to 5 questions. The results of the initial and final PSA tests were analyzed for homogeneity and normality to conduct hypothesis testing. Hypothesis test analysis shows that  is rejected and  is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Learning Cycle 7E model on students' physics problem solving.

Abstract

The existence of "Bale Tani" and "Alang" in the present time is now rarely encountered, as they have been replaced by more modern buildings and storage spaces. This research aims to examine "Bale Tani" and "Alang" from a scientific perspective, as well as to explore their significance in terms of local wisdom and the religious beliefs of the Sasak tribe on Lombok Island. This study employs a qualitative method through an in-depth investigation. Researchers directly engage in fieldwork to conduct observations, interviews, and document the objects of study. The research data's credibility is enhanced through triangulation techniques (multiple sources and methods) and supported by relevant reference sources. From a scientific standpoint, both "Bale Tani" and "Alang" are structures designed for disaster mitigation (such as earthquakes and floods) and to protect stored items from humidity, thus preserving them. Based on local wisdom and religiosity, this research reveals several aspects. Notably, their exceptional architectural design and unique forms, which are distinct to Pulau Lombok and not found elsewhere. Their multifunctional nature is highlighted, serving as spaces for storage, rest, gatherings, seating, cooking, and other activities. The alignment of "Bale Tani" towards the east facilitates the determination of the Qibla direction for prayers. The "Alang," functioning as storage for harvest yields, carries the significance of expressing gratitude among the Sasak tribe to their deity for the bestowed sustenance. Consequently, the Sasak community practices frugality by storing their harvest in the "Alang" as a manifestation of this gratitude.

Abstract

This research aims to produce an effective tool for improving students' physics problem solving abilities. The learning tool developed uses a problem-based learning model with the help of a virtual laboratory to improve students' problem solving abilities. The research design used is 4D model development research consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The products developed are Syllabus, RPP, LKPD, Teaching Materials, Learning Media, and Problem Solving Ability Test Instruments. The data collection technique uses the N-Gain test and is interpreted into an interpretation of effectiveness. Improving students' problem solving abilities from the results of this research shows that the N-Gain test value is 0.72 in the high category. Based on this research, it can be concluded that problem-based learning tools assisted by virtual laboratories are effective in improving students' problem-solving abilities
