Abstract

Research on influence of Ball Milling time on magnetic properties composition and particle size of iron sand has been studied by Iron Sand Separator. The sampel was collected Kata beach Pariaman West Sumatera. Magnetic properties was studied using a solenoid wound with 2000 turns, length of 10 cm, and diameter 3 cm. Composition of the sample was studied by X-Ray Fluorescence, while particle size of the sample was studied by Particle Size Analyzer. The results showed that the size particle is 99,14 μm, 96,59 μm, and 93,34μm after processing by Ball Milling of 3, 5, and 7 hours respectively. The composition of the sample after being processed by Ball Milling of 7 hours is 12,2% and 47,387% respectively. More over, mass suseptibility of the sample increased after being processed by Ball Milling from 873,62 x 10-8 m3/Kg to 14.576,52 x 10-8 m3/Kg. These values are interval of ilmenite mineral (46 x 10-8 – 80.000 x 10-8) m3/Kg.

Abstract

The study aims to find secondary metabolites isolated from leave of pucuk merah (Syzygium Myrtifilium Walp). The method used is maceration, fractionation, column chromatography, thin layer chromatography and identified using Fourier Transform-Infra Red (FT-IR) and Gass Cromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS). Phytochemical preliminary test of ethyl acetate fraction contained alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolic and triterpenoids, while the results of phytochemical test against stains 2 ethyl acetate fraction showed a positive test result contains the alkaloid compounds and compounds phenolic. The results of the analysis using cluster bonding FT-IR emergence OH (Hydroksi), C-H (Aromatic), CH3 (Aliphatic), and CO Ether, whereas the MS chromatograms obtained peak (peak) which have a similarity value above 90% according to willey09th.L database. estimates of the results of the analysis can be concluded that the stain 2 ethyl acetate fraction is estimated compound 2,4-di-tersier-butyl-fenol.

Abstract

ABSTRACT             The research to determine “Analysis the Content of Ascorbic Acid in the Red Dragon Fruit by Iodimetri” Vitamin C concentration of postharvest red dragon fruit (Hylocereus Polyrhizus) and at the same time to recognize those the packaging could affected conten of obtained Vitamin C. Analysis process was conducted by iodimetric titration method through the sample of dragon fruit with saving period and packaging varied. The result of completed research find out there was are difference concentration of Vitamin C between packaged dragon fruit and without package, the concentration of Vitamin C in packaged dragon fruit was increase the concentration of Vitamin C from the first day (11,1680 mg/100 gram of sample) to the third day (14,8017 mg/100 gram of sample) and decrease until the fifth day (10,4743 mg/gram of sample), otherwise by another treatment without package the concentration of Vitamin C are increase from the first day (7,4928 mg/100 gram of sample) to the sixth day (19,6784 mg/100 gram of sample) and decreased until the eighth day (14,1395 mg/100 gram of sample). Keywords  : Red dragon fruit (Hylocereus Polyrhizus), Vitamin C dan iodimetric titration.

Abstract

ABSTRAKGinjal merupakan organ yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam tubuh untuk membuang sisa dari metabolisme dan toksikan tubuh melalui urin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran histopatologi jaringan ginjal tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) setelah implan wire material logam stainlees steel 316L dan wire stainless steel alternatif alat pancing pada tulang femur. Sepuluh ekor tikus putih jantan dibagi 2 kelompok perlakuan, masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 5 ekor. Kelompok I (K-I) diimplan menggunakan wire stainlees steel 316L dan kelompok II (K-II) diimplan menggunakan wire stainless steel alternatif alat pancing. Organ ginjal dikoleksi pada hari ke-86 setelah implantasi. Pemeriksaan histopatologi ginjal dilakukan dengan pewarnaan hematoksilin-eosin (HE). Hasil pengamatan histopatologi diskoring dan dianalisis menggunakan uji T dengan perangkat lunak SPSS (Statistic Program For Social Science) 22. Hasil pengamatan berupa hiperemi, hemoragi, nekrosis dan sel-sel inflamasi dengan perubahan yang tidak signifikan (P0,05) antara kedua kelompok perlakuan. Disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaaan gambaran histopatologi ginjal tikus yang diimpalan wire stainless steel 316L dan wire stainless steel alternatif alat pancing.Kata kunci : Ginjal, histopatologi, implan, logam, wireABSTRACTKidney is an organ that has an important role in the body to remove the rest of the body's metabolism and toxins through urine. This study aims to determine the histopathological picture of kidney tissue in white rats (Rattus norvegicus) after implantation of 316L stainless steel metal wire and alternative stainless steel wire for fishing line on the femur bone. Ten male rats were divided into 2 treatment groups, each group consisting of 5 tails. Group I (K-I) was implanted using 316L stainless steel wire and group II (K-II) was implanted using an alternative stainless steel wire for fishing line. Kidney organs were collected on 86 th day after implantation. Histopathological examination of the kidneys is carried out by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. Histopatologi observation results were scored and analyzed using T test with SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Science) 22 software. The results showed the occurrence of hyperemia, hemorrhage, necrosis and inflammatory cells with insignificant changes (P 0.05) between the two treatment groups. It was concluded that there was no difference in the histopathological picture of rat kidneys implanted by 316L stainless steel wire and alternative stainless steel wire fishing line.Keywords: histopayhology, kidney, wire, implant, metal

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran densitas radiografi tulang femur pada anjing lokal. Hewan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 ekor anjing betina lokal dengan kisaran umur 5-7 bulan. Pengambilan gambar radiografi dan pengukuran densitas radiografi tulang femur dengan menggunakan Software Image J pada minggu ke 0 (sebelum diovariohisterektomi), minggu ke 1, 2, 3, dan 4 (setelah diovariohisterektomi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata densitas radiografi tulang femur sebelum diovariohisterektomi adalah 151,8401±5,8767. Hasil ini menunjukkan berbeda nyata  pada  minggu 1, 2, dan 4 setelah diovariohisterektomi dengan hasil densitas radiografi tulang 168,7952±7,88446, 181,0557±7,81876, dan 169,1759±4,73123. Pada minggu 3 setelah diovariohisterektomi menunjukkan hasil tidak berbeda nyata dengan densitas radiografi tulang sebelum diovariohisterektomi yaitu 152,9360±7,38131. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa densitas tulang dari hasil pengambilan gambar radiografi tulang femur anjing lokal (Canis lupus familiaris) didapatkan terjadi peningkatan densitas radiografi pada minggu ke 1, 2, 4 dan menurun pada minggu 3. Penurunan dan peningkatan densitas radiografi pada tulang femur bersifat fluktuasi. (This study aimed  to get radiodensity of femoral bone in local dog. Animals used in this study were 3 local female dogs with the age range of 5-7 months. Radiographic imaging and radiographic density measurements of femur bone using Software Image J before and after ovariohysterectomy at weeks 1, 2, 3, and 4. The results show that the average radiodensity of femur bone before ovariohysterectomy was 151,8401± 5,8767. This result had significantly different with 1, 2, and 4 weeks after ovariohysterectomy. In week 3 after ovariohysterectomy, the results were not significantly different from the radiograph density of the femur bone before in ovariohysterectomy that was 152.9360 ± 7.38131. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that bone density resulting from radiography imaging of local dog's femur (Canis lupus familiaris) using Image Software Image J obtained  radiographic density increased at week 1, 2, 4 and decreased at week 3. The decrease and increase of radiographic density of the femur bone is a fluctuation).

Abstract

ABSTRAKLeukosit adalah sel pertahanan tubuh yang berfungsi memfagosit seluruh benda yang dianggap asing oleh tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah total leukosit dan persentase diferensial leukosit kelinci setelah pemasangan implant plate material logam. Penelitian ini menggunakan 6 ekor kelinci yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok. Kelompok I (K-I) diimplan plate tantalum dan kelompok II (K-II) diimplan plate besi. Pengambilan darah melalui vena auricularis pada hari ke 0, 7, 14, 28, dan 56 setelah implan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implan plate tantalum dan plate  besi tidak berpengaruh terhadap total leukosit dan diferensial leukosit. Total leukosit diantara hari pengamatan menunjukan perbedaan pada masing-masing kelompok, namun masih dalam nilai normal. Penggunaan implan plate tantalum dan plate besi tidak memiliki efek terhadap gambaran sel darah putih dan persentase diferensial leukosit.Kata kunci : leukosit, diferensial leukosit, plate besi, plate tantalumABSTRACTLeukocytes are the body's defense cells that function to phagocyte all objects considered as foreign by the body. This study aims to determine the total leukocytes and differential percentage of rabbit leukocytes that paired of plate implants with metal material. This study used 6 rabbits divided into 2 groups. Group I was implanted with tantalum plate and group II  was implanted using an iron plate. Blood collection through the auricular vein on days 0, 7, 14, 28, and 56. Leukocyte and differential counts leukocytes are calculated using the Mindray hematology analyzer. The results of the study showed that tantalum implants and iron plates have no effect on total leukocytes and differentials leukocytes. The total leukocytes between observations show differences, but are still deep in normal range. The use of tantalum implants and iron plates has no effect against white blood cell images and differential leukocyte percentages.Keywords: leukocytes, differential leukocytes, iron plate, tantalum plate
