Abstract

Abstract: The difference between boarding school students and regular students.  This research is motivated by social competence as one of the important aspects of the adolescent social development and also to strengthen their identity and their role in society. This study was a comparative. Sample was 128 people; MAKN Koto Baru  64 students and 64 students of MAN 2 Bukittinggi using Proportional Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used in data collection is the scale of social competence. Hypothesis testing is done by using T-test techniques analysis. The results show there are differences in the students' social competence Boarding School and a regular public school students with p equal to 0.049.Keywords: social competence, boarding school, regular public schools. Abstrak : Perbedaan kompetensi sosial siswa boarding school  dan siswa sekolah umum reguler. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kompetensi sosial sebagai salah satu aspek penting dalam perkembangan sosial remaja selain itu juga untuk memperkukuh identitas diri serta perannya dalam masyarakat. Desain penelitian ini adalah komparatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 128 orang ; 64 siswa MAKN Koto Baru dan 64 siswa MAN 2 Bukittinggi dengan menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah skala kompetensi sosial. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis uji beda T-test. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kompetensi sosial siswa Boarding School dan siswa sekolah umum reguler dengan t hitung 1, 988 dan p sebesar 0,049.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi sosial, boarding school, sekolah umum regular.

Abstract

Kemiskinan memberikan dampak negatif pada pola pengasuhan anak yang dapat mengurangi kesejahteraan subyektif (kebahagiaan) anak. Rendahnya kesejahteraan subyektif anak dapat menimbulkan berbagai dampak psikososial dalam perkembangan kepribadiannya. Hingga saat ini, intervensi pada keluarga miskin yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah masih terpusat pada pemberian bantuan untuk kebutuhan fisiologis, secara langsung belum menyentuh aspek psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model intervensi pengasuhan pada keluarga miskin untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan subyektif anak (kebahagiaan anak). Hasil penelitian ini dapat disumbangkan kepada pemerintah sebagai bahan masukan untuk menyususn program pengentasan kemiskinan secara utuh. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap. Tahap pertama penggalian data tentang pola-pola pengasuhan keluarga miskin, masalah psikososial dalam pengasuhan, dan tingkat kesejahteraan subyektif anak. Penggalian data dengan survey menggunakan kuesioner terbuka dan skala kesejahteraan subyektif. Tahap kedua penyusunan modul dengan mengintegrasikan sumber-sumber dukungan sosial di lingkungan sekitar subyek penelitian.

Abstract

This article aims to explain how the creative approach of guidance and counseling  in the face of independent learning in the era of Industry Revolusi 4.0 and preparedness counselor to minimum competency assessment and survey the characters. In principle already the task of counseling but counselors need creative approaches are required to utilize information technology as a means of supporting the counselor so that effective performance for different levels of education in the era of industrial revolution to four. The method used is descriptive qualitative study of literature. The results of several studies relevant journals obtained could be found the creative approach to guidance and counseling in facing the independent learning policy through the: first, assessment of minimal competencies which counselors provide career guidance services through ICT media. Such as "e-Guidance & Virtual career development" and "ICT for counseling and Careers Guidance Services" SMA APPEM and Delphi 7 named PLABK-SMA software as a tool in carrying out career guidance. Abstract

 Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling merupakan hal yang sangat penting dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di SDIT Adzkia 1 Padang, dilaksanakan dengan mengintegrasikan program yang dinamakan pendidikan karakter. Program pendidikan karakter ini mencakup 10 karakter yang dibentuk pada setiap siswa di SDIT Adzkia 1 Padang. Program ini terintegrasi pada seluruh mata pelajaran dan mencakup seluruh lini yang ada di sekolah. Dalam pelaksanaannya, pendidikan karakter diterapkan melalui 4 pendekatan, yaitu pendekatan keteladanan, pendekatan pembiasaan, pendekatan nasehat dan pendekatan reward and punishment. Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam Program Pendidikan Karakter di SDIT Adzkia 1 telah terdifusi ke dalam proses pembelajaran dan terintegrasi juga dengan pendidikan karakter. Guru kelas telah berfungsi sebagai guru BK/konselor. Namun masih terdapat keterbatasan dalam penerapan layanan BK di SDIT Adzkia 1 Padang. Untuk layanan konseling kelompok serta bimbingan kelompok belum bisa terlaksana di SDIT Adzkia 1 Padang. Keywords: Layanan BK, Sekolah Dasar, Pendidikan Karakter

Abstract

There has long been concern about advisors in schools because their roles change quickly and significantly in response to trends in society. This has resulted in various conceptions and misconceptions about their roles. This article describes the emergence of school counseling as a profession, outlining the history of the development of the school counseling model (eg vocational guidance, mental health movements, and developmental guidance). Counselors in schools must be promoted as leaders or provide recommendations to school counselors who seek leadership-related status. Furthermore, the authors explain that tactical advocacy for marginalized students and targeted partnerships with school principals are an integral part of strengthening a school counselor. Recommendations are offered for counselors in schools to be able to hone the importance of leadership skills, especially through professional development (for example in services, distance learning and continuing education courses).Keywords: Counseling, School, Leadership

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the development and career character as the human being is the social creatures, they can survive by socializing with the environment, society and their natural surroundings. Industrial Zone 4.0 has brought many behavioural and career changes that cannot be ruled out by anyone. This has given many problems and challenges to counsellor practitioners to provide diverse aspirations and motivations to the wider community. These problems and challenges include the low attitude of mutual help to help one another, the high rate of mutual prejudice to others, the lack of honesty for the achievement of desired goals, the high behaviour of crime. So, it is hoped that counsellors will continue to improve the basic knowledge of human needs and services in the Industrial Zone 4.0.

Abstract

Tingginya angka kemiskinan akan memberikan dampak kepada kesejahteraan psikologis masyarakat terutama keluarga. Hal ini yang menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun populasi penelitian ini keluarga miskin yang tinggal di Kecamatan Nanggalo, Kota Padang, Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket psychological well-being dan skala model Likert dengan tiga alternatif yaitu tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa psychological well-being keluarga miskin Kota Padang 58,3% berada pada kategori sedang, 35% berada pada kategori rendah dan 6,7% berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran “everyone is a teacher here” untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD 25 Gadut Tilatang Kamang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada aspek-aspek sebagai berikut: (a) Rata-rata tingkat perencanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I adalah 80 (B), dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 96 (SB), (b) Rerata tingkat pembelajaran guru pada siklus I 79 (C) meningkat menjadi 98 (SB) pada siklus II, dan ditinjau dari pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I, perolehan rata-rata siswa 79,5 (C) meningkat menjadi 96 (SB) pada siklus II, (c) Pada siklus I prestasi belajar siswa mencapai rata-rata pada siklus II adalah 76,8 (C) menjadi 83,8 (B). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi “everyone is a teacher here” dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal whether the guidance and counseling module for the management of academic stress of students eligible materially and appearance, and to describe the usefulness level guidance and counseling module for the management of a student's academic stress by counselor. The method used in this research is model ADDIE. Research carried out by testing product research and FGD. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results showed that the guidance and counseling module for the management of a student's academic stress can be used as a media in the service guidance and counseling in school. Thus, prototype of guidance and counseling module for the management of a student's academic stress can be used by the counselor to help a student in academic stress anticipate in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the importance of guidance and counseling services in higher education based on the views of biology education students. The research was conducted using in-depth interview techniques on three students with high, medium, and low abilities. Considering the health protocol during the Covid-19 pandemic, the interview was conducted by telephone. Research findings reveal that students are not aware of the existence of guidance and counseling services in universities. Knowledge about guidance and counseling that students have is derived from experience in senior high school and also from guidance and counseling lecture material which generally discusses guidance and counseling at school. All informants have a good perception of guidance and counseling services. In addition, informants agreed that students really need guidance and counseling service programs on campus, because various student problems cannot always be solved by telling stories to friends or academic advisors. Based on the fact that informants did not know about counseling services, the informants suggested that better socialization be given to students about the existence of counseling services in universities, so that they could effectively overcome various problems faced by students.
