Abstract

In the revised 2013 curriculum, students are required to have skills that fit the challenges of the 21st century. To train these skills is to apply the right model in learning, namely the guided inquiry model. The availability of guided inquiry models in learning can be seen from the lesson plans. All lesson plan at public high schools has not been identified whether they have a guided inquiry model. Therefore, this research aims to find out the availability of guided inquiry models in lesson plan Physics grade XI Semester 1 in high schools. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The population data in this study are all lesson plan Physics High School grade XI semester I used by 15 districts in West Sumatra. The samples in this study were lesson plan Physics in high schools grade XI Semester I from 7 schools created by teachers. Based on the research that has been done, the availability of the guided inquiry model in lesson plan physics grade XI semester 1 obtained the results of the analysis that lesson plan with the highest availability category is lesson plan 3 with a percentage of 83.3% in very available category. The lesson plan with the lowest availability is lesson plan 1 and lesson plan 6 with a percentage of 16.67% in the unavailable category. Thus, it can be concluded that the availability of the guided inquiry model in the lesson plans for grade XI semester 1 is categorized as sufficient available.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Chemistry learning in thermochemistry material has not been able to guide students to find concepts by themselves. Because of this, teaching materials are needed modules that apply the model-guided inquiry integrated experiment. Metode penelitian: This research aims to determine the effectiveness of uses a thermochemistry module based on guided inquiry integrated experiments with student learning outcomes. The type of this research was Randomized Pretest-poss test Control Group Design. The population was students of class XI MIPA SMAN 3 Padang, consist of 8 classes. The samples were chosen using a purposive-cluster random sampling technique, obtained XI MIPA 7 as experiment class and XI MIPA 4 as control class. Data analysis in this research was students learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. Hasil penelitian: The average value of the control class was 80,42 and the experiment class was 84,58. From the results statistic, both two sample classes had normal and homogenous. Based on the hypothesis using t-test with a significance level of 0,05 was found count was 3,32 and ttable was 1,66., which means H1 was accepted. In addition, to know the effectiveness of the thermochemistry module based on guided inquiry integrated experiment it can be seen using the N-Gain score. Kesimpulan: So it can be concluded that the module is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the XI MIPA at SMAN 3 Padang.

Abstract

Dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA terpadu, diperlukan pendekatan yang dapat mendukung tercapainya proses dan produk pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang dapat digunakan diantaranya adalah SETS, PACE, Multiple Intelligence, Metacognitive Skill, dan RME. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah studi dokumen. Data yang disajikan dalam hasil penelitian ini adalah kajian mendalam mengenai lima pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPA Terpadu.

Abstract

The learning process is carried out fully in the network during the Covid-19 outbreak so that the use of learning media becomes one of the determinants of students' success in learning. Lack of application of learning media while online causes misconceptions in students. Based on previous research, 28% of students experienced misconceptions in dynamic fluid material with sub-matter continuity. The study was conducted to identify student misconceptions on dynamic fluid material using the four-tier diagnostic test method. The four-tier diagnostic test instrument used in this study was 5 questions tested to 17 grade XI students at one of the high schools in Tanah Datar. The stages of research were carried out as follows: 1) making diagnostic test instruments form four-tier diagnostic tests, 2) data collection, 4) data processing and analysis, 5) conclusion making. Based on data analysis and results of identification of student conception category on dynamic fluid material, 31% of students were in the concept-savvy category, 9% of students were in partial concepts category, 25% of students were in the conceptless category, and 39% of students were in the concept of misconceptions.

Abstract

Dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa, diperlukan kesadaran Tenaga Pendidik agar senantiasa aktif dalam memberikan inovasi dalam pembelajaran di kelas seperti mentransformasi pembelajaran konvensional menuju pembelajaran berbasis riset. Artikel ini merupakan sebuah review penerapan Research Based Learning dalam proses pembelajaran IPA Terpadu. Data penelitian diperoleh dari kegiatan observasi dan wawancara selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Dengan implementasi pembelajaran berbasis riset, kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA UNP diharapkan dapat mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

Teachers have an important role in education. To support it, teachers should have good profess sionalism especially in writing articles. In fact, many teachers are not proficient in writing articles because they do not have enough knowledge about it. Teachers need such training for increasing their experience in writing. After that, the progress will be seen. The research method is descriptive quantitative. The data in this research is quantitative data. The type of data is the primary data. A data collection technique in this study is questionnaires. Data processing techniques used include editing, coding, tabulation, and scoring. Data analysis technique is descriptive analysis percentage. After doing the training, the teachers have more knowledge and interest of writing articles.

Abstract

To help realize UNP's vision towards a research-based university, awareness of Educators is needed to be active in providing innovation in classroom learning such as transforming conventional learning into research-based learning. This aim of this study was to analyze the implementation of research-based learning in Integrated Science courses Class VII in an effort to improve the ability to think critically and creatively. The study used the Quasi Experimental Research method with the design of the Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. The study was conducted in two sample classes obtained from cluster random sampling techniques by providing research-based learning treatment to the experimental class and ordinary learning to the control class. The research data was pre-test and post-test instrument, student response questionnaire and observation sheet during the learning process. With the implementation of research-based learning, the ability to think critically and creatively students of Physics Education FMIPA UNP was expected to be able to increase.

Abstract

Indonesia faces the biggest challenge in education. Various problems have arisen including teachers not yet utilizing technology optimally in learning. Teachers in schools still maintain conventional learning. Actions to motivate teachers are needed so that integrated learning of information technology can be implemented well. This is in accordance with the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 in the learning process where teachers and students together make innovations including the use of information technology-based learning media. To find out how deep the teacher's understanding of the preparation of information technology-based learning media in the revolution era 4.0, analysis in the form of quantitative data presented descriptively is needed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya data valid tentang kemandirian belajar mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar selama proses pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemandirian belajar mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar selama proses pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitaitif deskriptif dengan metode survei yang melibatkan 100 orang mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa sebanyak 10% mahasiswa memiliki kemandirian belajar sangat tinggi, 47% memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi, 19% memiliki kemandirian belajar sedang, 15% memiliki kemandirian belajar rendah, dan sebanyak 9% memiliki kemandirian belajar sangat rendah.  Hal ini membuktikan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi.  Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi dalam proses pengembangan pembelajaran daring untuk meningkatkan kualitas kemandirian belajar mahasiswa

Abstract

Responding to the 21st century, among others, is necessary to develop creative thinking skills. However, students' creative thinking skills are still low, this is due to the lack of modules that can help students in their knowledge and develop creative thinking skills, including in physics subjects. In general, this researcher is producing a contextual-based physics module that integrates creative thinking skills. In this research, the type used is R&D with ADDIE design. The instruments are in the form of a validity test questionnaire sheet by the lecturer and a practicality test questionnaire sheet by the lecturer. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using statistics with a correlated t-test”. Based on the analyzed data, it shows that the physics module developed has a value of 84.80 and is in the valid category. The use of the module on static fluid and heat temperature values obtains practicality values of 88 and 92, respectively, both of which are in the practical category. The use of the tested module its effectiveness on high school students scored 30.33 at the pretest stage and 60.73 at the posttest stage. This increase indicates that the module is in the effective category.
