Abstract

This study aims to determine the presence or absence of (1) the influence of financial literacy on consumer behavior konsumtif SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar; (2) the influence of self-control on consumptive behavior of Muhammadiyah SMA 1 Karanganyar students; This research is a type of descriptive quantitative research with correlational method. The population in this study is all students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar as many as 1180 students consisting of classes X and XI. The sample in this study amounted to 93 students taken with proportional sampling technique stratified random sampling. Methods of collecting data in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used is structural equational modeling (SEM) analysis technique. The results of this study show (1) Financial literacy has a coefficient beta -0.486 and has a t-value of 1.726> 1.66. These results indicate that literacy has a negative and significant relationship direction. (2) Self-control has a beta coefficient of 1.087 and has a t-value of 3.478> 1.66. These results indicate that self-control has a positive and significant relationship direction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes of student in economic lesson at class XI IIS 1 of Senior High School 5 Surakarta in the academic year of 2015/2016 with the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model.The type of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is students at XI IIS 1 of Senior High School 5 Surakarta in the academic year of 2015/2016 with 31 students. The data sources are from the teacher and students. The technique of data collection used are, (a) observation, (b) interview, (c) documentation, and (d) test. Validity of data used is triangulation resources and method. Comparative statistic analysis, analysis of quantitative data, and analysis of qualitative data is used for analyzing the data. The procedures of this research are (a) planning, (b) action, (c) observation, and (d) reflection.Based on the research results, the learning process with the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve learning outcomes of  students. It was proven in the cycle I that students learning outcomes were increased 4,07 (average score of pre cycle 72,90 and average score of the cycle I  76,97) and percentage of minimal prerequisite score is increased 9,67% (percentage of pre cycle 61,29% and cycle I 70,96%). On the cycle II, students’ learning outcomes on cycle II also increased 6,68 (average score of cycle I 76,97 and average score of the cycle II 83,65) and percentage of minimal prerequisite score increased 16,13% (percentage of cycle I 70,96% and cycle II 87,09%).The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can increase learning  outcomes of student  in  Economic  lesson  at  XI  IIS  1  of  Senior  High  School  5 Surakarta, in the academic year of 2015/2016.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the simultaneous effect of the teacher’s competency and the students’ achievement motivation on the learning achievement in Marketing Business Management subject matter; (2) the effect of the teacher’s on the learning achievement in Marketing Business Management subject matter; and (3) the effect of the students’ achievement motivation on the learning achievement in Marketing Business Management subject matter of the students in Grade X PM of State Vocational High School 1 of Karanganyar in Academic Year 2015/2016.This research used the quantitative method with the associative causal approach. Its population was all of the students in Grade X PM of State Vocational High School 1 of Karanganyar. The samples of research were determined by using the total sampling technique. Its data were collected through questionnaire, documentation, observation and interview techniques. The data were analyzed by using the multiple regression analysis, F test, and t test at the significance level of 0.05.The results of research are as follows. Firstly, the teacher’s competency and the students’ achievement motivation have a simultaneously positive effect as much as 39.7% on the learning achievement in the Marketing Business Management as indicated by the value of Fab= 24.37 which was greater than that of F0.05;2;69= 3.130. Secondly, the students’ achievement motivation has a positive effect as much as 7.34% on the learning achievement in the Marketing Business Management as pointed out by the value of ta= 2.343 which was greater than that of t0.05;1;71= 1.667. Finally, the students’ achievement motivation has a positive effect as much as 32.26% on the learning achievement in the Marketing Business Management as indicated by the value of tb= 5.732 which was greater than that of t0.05; 1;71= 1.667.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determinethe suitability level of service quality performanceat SMK Batik 1which includes tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy simultaneously and partially.This study uses survey research methods. The study population was SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. Samples were taken by proportional random technique. The research data obtained by questionnaire. The validity of the data carried by the internal validity. Analysis of the data used in this research is the analysis of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA).The conclusion of this study were: 1) the satisfaction of students is lower than the quality of service in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. 2) The high level of expectation of students on the performance of services seen from the dimensions of service quality has been determined, indicating that the level of expectation of students on a quality service at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta is quite important. 3) The low level of performance of service quality as seen from the dimensions of service quality has been determined show that the level of quality of service performance in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta is unsatisfactory students. 4) 30 indicators that are analized then there are 6 indicators included in the quadrant A, which is the main priority, 10 indicators are included in quadrantgB (performance and expevtation was based), who fall into quadrant C there are 7 indicators (low priority), 7 indicators included in quadrant D (be overestimated by students)

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve critical thinking skills and students learning outcomes of economic subject at class XI IIS I of Senior High School 6 Surakarta in academic year of 2014/2015 with the implementation of discovery learning Model by using scientific approach. The subjects were students of class XI IIS 1 of Senior High School 6 Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/2015 with 30 students. Sources of data derived from the teachers, students, and documents. The technique of data collection used are (a) Observation, (b) Test, (c) documentation, (d) interviews. Techniques for the validity of the data used triangulation of data sources and triangulation tec hniques. Comparative analysis, simple quantitative and qualitative analysis is used for analyzing the data. The procedures of this research are (a) planning, (b) action, (c) observation, (d) reflection.Based on the research results, the learning process with the implementation of discovery learning model by using scientific approach can improve critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of the students. It depends on the critical thinking skills cycle according to the indicators. These indicators increase 22,83 % (pre cycle percentage 47,17% and 70,00% on the first cycle). The students learning outcomes also increased 11,83% (the pre cycle average points 72,27 (2,89) and the first cycle 3,36 84,10 (3,36)) by the completeness presentation 30% (the pre-cycle completeness percentage is 43,33% and 73,33% on the first cycle). On the cycle II, the critical thinking skills of students continue to increase, it can be seen that the critical thingking indicator increase 11,50% (the first cycle percentage is 70,00 % and second cycle is 81,50%. Student learning outcomes on cycle II is also increased 8% and the completeness percentage is 13,34% (the first cycle percentage 73,33 and second cycle 86,67%). The conclusion of this research is the implementation of Discovery Learning Model by using scientific approach can improve students’ critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in Economics subject at class XI IIS I of Senior High School 6 Surakarta, in the academic year of 2014/2015.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning activities of students in class XI Marketing 1 Selling Services subject, at State Vocationa1 High School1 Surakarta, through the application of a problem-based learning model.The study was based on classroom action research and was carried out through two cycles. There are steps in each cycle was planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Participants comprised the 30 students in class XI Marketing 1 at State Vocationa1 High School 1 Surakarta, in academic year 2015/2016. The data sources were teachers of Selling Services subject, students, and documentation. Technique collection of the data were used including observations, interviews, documentation, and tests. The data analysis technique used comparative-descriptive analysis and critical analysis.Based on the analysis result, a significant improvement of learning activities was occurred from pre-cycle learning to the first cycle to second cycle. It can be seen from the percentage before applying the problem-based learning model, students learning activities for visual activities was 58.75%, oral activities was 42.92%, listening activities was 60.42% and mental activities was 54.17%. In cycle I, students learning activities for visual activities was 75.83%, oral activities was 63.75%, listening activities was 77.08%, and mental activities was 70%. In cycle II, students learning activities for visual activities was 80%, oral activities was 75.83%, listening activities was 83.92% and mental activities was 77.50%. It can be concluded that the application of a problem-based learning model can improve the learning activities of students in class XI Marketing 1 at State Vocationa1 High School 1 Surakarta on Selling Services subject.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know: (1) the school’s infrastructure affects the students’ learning achievement of Marketing students in SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo, (2) the students’ learning motivation affects the students’ learning achievement of Marketing students in SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo, (3) the school’s infrastructure and the students’ learning motivation affect the students’ learning achievement in SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. This research quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population and sample of this research is the students of Marketing  and XI of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. The technique to determine the sampling used is proportional random sampling. The technique to collect the data is by using questionnaire and documentation. The technique of   analyzing the data is by using double regression, T-test and f-test.Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that: (1) there is an effect of the school’s infrastructure toward the students’ learning achievement of Marketing students in SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo,  (2) there is an effect of the students’ learning motivation towards the students’ learning achievement of Marketing students in SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo, (3) there is an effect of the school’s infrastructure and the students’ learning motivation toward the students’ learning achievement of Marketing students in SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out whether there’s a different in students’ entrepreneurship learning outcome through 2 different study  model, talking stick and snowball throwing study model.A quantitative experimental study was conducted to all of 10th grader in SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta. Chosen subjects were taken through cluster sampling methods and came from Accounting and Office Administration 10th  grader. 21 subjects in 10th grade Accounting were taught with talking stick study model and 32 subjects in 10th grade Office Administration were taught with snowball throwing study model. Data collection techniques in this study is documentation and a written test. The data in this study was analyzed using Independent Samples Test technique with 5% signification. Normality and homogeneity test were done using SPSS 21.According to study and analytical data result, it can be concluded that there’s a difference in entrepreneurship learning outcomes between subjects taught with talking stick and snowball throwing study model (Fcounted  = 10,687 > Ftable2,007584) at 5% level of significant.

Abstract

This study purpose to determine the factors that influence the decision of the students chose Economic Education Studies Program of FKIP UNS in force in 2014 and 2015. This research is a survey method. The analysis used in this research is factor analysis. The population in this study were students Economic Education Studies Program class of 2014 and 2015, amounting to 122 students. The sample in this study was 115 respondents in the manner five times 23 the number of overall indicators. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The data used are primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires. In this study, the independent variables used are the social variables, personal, motivation, references, promotion, facilities, reputation, and the cost of the dependent variable student's decision choosing  Economic Education Studies Program of FKIP UNS .The results of this study indicate that there are four factors that influence the decision of students choosing Economic Education Studies Program of FKIP UNS. These factors are: (1) factors image factor with eigenvalues highest of 1,585 and variants 19.808%, (2) social factors with a variant of 15.126%, the cost factor with a variant of 13.881%, and the reference factor with a variant of 12.714%, with total variance can be explained amounted to 61.530%.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve students’ learning outcomes in doing confirmation of customer’s decision through the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning with Cooperative Learning of Number Heads Together at State Vocational High School 1 Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2015/2016.  The subject of the research was the students of class XI Marketing 2 at State Vocational High School 1 Sukoharjo. It consisted of 34 students. Data sources of the research were taken from teacher, students, and documents. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, and documentations. In this study, data validity test is done by triangulation of sources. Data analysis techniques with comparative descriptive data analysis, quantitative and qualitative dataThe result of the research showed that there was significant learning outcomes improvement from pre-cycle to cycle I and continued to cycle II. This result showed that the percentage of students who can reach passing grade of the last learning outcomes was 64,70 % or 22 students. Contextual Teaching and Learning with Numbered Head Together was implemented in cycle I and the percentage of students’ learning outcomes improved. The percentage was 79,41% or 27 students. The improvement also happened in cycle II. The percentage of students’ learning outcomes became 85,29% or 29 students.
