Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the efforts of the Japanese Government in solving educational problems after the second world war. The research method used is library research. The results of the study found that one of the advances in education in Japan was then used as an instrument to solve the nation's problems, namely through the improvement and development of professional teachers. By building professional teachers, Japan is now one of the mecca of the advancement of education from the East. Education in Japan is known as education on a philosophical basis of developers other than Taiwan, while Western world education is based on inventors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategy of character formation of national spirit of Ambalan Kyai Mojo and Nyi Ageng Serang members based in MA Nahdhlotul Muslimin Undaan Kudus. This research uses qualitative approach with field study method and descriptive research type. Data collection using observation and interview method. Data validity using source triangulation techniques and data were analyzed using Miles-Huberman interactive model. The results showed that in order to form the character of the national spirit of scout members Ambalan Kyai Mojo and Nyi Ageng Serang, the strategy pursued is by holding a regular exercise. There is also a Scout Work Unit (SAKA) exercise to educate and train members according to their interests. Members of Ambalan Kyai Mojo and Nyi Ageng Serang are members of SAKA Bhayangkara (Police), SAKA Pandu Wisata (Culture and Tourism Service), SAKA Wana Bakti (Perhutani) and SAKA Wira Kartika (KODIM). The spirit of nationality continues to grow and develop in the soul of every member of the scout Ambalan Kyai Mojo and Nyi Ageng Serang when inducted into Bantara Enforcer. Not all members of Ambalan Kyai Mojo and Nyi Ageng Serang can pass and escaped and be sworn in to Bantara Enforcers because of the rigorous and tough exam must be taken. Tri Satya is the sacred promise of every Bantara Enforcer when inaugurated by the coach. Tri Satya and Dasa Darma spirit is what makes every Enforcer Bantara Ambalan Kyai Mojo and Nyi Ageng Serang become a patriot plenary.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui makna dan nilai dalam Buka Luwur Sunan Kudus serta merancang model implementasi makna dan nilai dalam Buka Luwur Sunan Kudus untuk mewujudkan visi Kampus Kebudayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Buka Luwur dilaksanakan dalam rangka memperingati haul Sunan Kudus. Haul adalah upacara untuk memperingati wafat seorang ulama atau tokoh yang berjasa. Buka Luwur Kudus Sunan mengandung makna dan simbol nilai-nilai luhur dan nilai edukatif yang tinggi yaitu: rasa toleransi kepada sesama, rasa saling tolong-menolong dan menghargai, melatih dan membiasakan diri bersedekah, selalu mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan, mampu membina budi pekerti luhur dan mengekang perbuatan negatif serta mengingatkan agar orang-orang supaya beramal-ibadah yang baik untuk bekal kehidupan sesudah mati. Makna dan nilai Buka Luwur yang tergali sangat relevan dengan Universitas Muria Kudus yang memiliki visi menjadi “Kampus Kebudayaan” dengan ciri khas lulusan “Cerdas dan Santun”. Melalui Tri Darma perguruan maka makna dan nilai Buka Luwur dapat diimplementasikan dalam setiap darma dalam upaya mewujudkan visi “Kampus Kebudayaan”.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Dandangan Tradition while simultaneously analyzing the meaning and value of the Dandangan Tradition as a study of learning in supporting the achievement of the vision of the University of Culture. This study uses qualitative descriptive research and field studies. The main data obtained directly through interviews with informants. observation, literature study and documentation.. The validity of the source triangulation technique is used. Data analysis was performed through inductive-descriptive-verivative analysis. The results of the study showed the Dalih Tradition from the sound of drum beating. The sound of the drum that reads "dang dang dang" compilation is hit in the middle and the sound "dug dug dug" compilation is hit on the edge of the drum then turns into the start of the month of Ramadan castle and is also known as Dandangan. Other opinions mention that Dandangan is taken from the word Ndang, which is obtained from the sound / sound of Bedhug beating, so that the sound of Ndang-Ndang (come on) which is heard by all the people of Kudus and also for Kudus to come and flock to be visited at Menara Mosque can be read from Sunan. Kudus came in order to welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan. The Meanings and Values of the Dandangan Tradition include 1) the early momentum of the holy month of Ramadan, 2) enthusiasm and joy, 3) regular and continuous patterns, 4) harmony, mutual support and the spirit of togetherness, 5) the momentum of the immediate rise, 6) the relationship between worldly life and the afterlife, 7) The inner atmosphere of the Holy community which is full of joy and joy to welcome the coming of Ramadan.

Abstract

Student’ activities play an important role in classroom learning activities. Student activities also affect student learning achievement, if the child is active then the possibility of achievement is also good. Unfortunately,  not all students are active in learning activities. The problem of low student activity occurs at State Elementary School 2 of Medini. The lack of students who ask questions or express opinions showed the activities of students were classified as low. This problem may disturb learning process and can affect student achievement. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement in student activity through the Student Teams Achievement Division model assisted by Utaku media. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of State Elementary School 2 of Medini. The instrument used was a student activity observation sheet. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis technique. The results showed an increase on students’ learning activities in the first cycle obtained an average value of 74 and in the second cycle increased to 85. Based on the results of CAR conducted in forth grade of State Elementary School 2 of Medini it can be concluded that the use of the STAD model assisted by Utaku media can increase student activity.

Abstract

In current learning, teachers still use the lecture method and rarely use media to support learning so that students feel bored and less enthusiastic about participating in learning activities resulting in low student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the improvement of student learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge and skills using the think pair share learning model assisted by pop-up media in class V. This type of research is classroom action research. This study consisted of 4 stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were 23 students in grade V. Data collection techniques in this study were test and non-test. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students in the domain of social science content knowledge in the first cycle obtained an average value of 69 and the Indonesian language content obtained an average value of 70 while in the second cycle the social studies content obtained an average value of 79 and the Indonesian language content obtained an average value. -averaged 80. The results of learning skills in the first cycle obtained an average score of 66 in the category of needing guidance while in the second cycle an average score of 78 was in the sufficient category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that applying the think pair share learning model assisted by pop up media can improve learning outcomes in class V.

Abstract

The development of tourism potential with educational nuances is an effort to develop a tourism potential in which there are several vehicles that can foster character values in children. This study describes the development of the potential for Cengkir Manis Tourism with educational nuances in Tanjungrejo Village. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method as a stage in carrying out research. The subjects in this research are managers of tourist attractions, visitors to tourist attractions, and sellers at tourist attractions. This research uses data collection techniques that include the observation stage, the interview stage, the documentation and recording stages. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative data analysis. The results showed that the manager had planned to develop the tourism potential in Cengkir Manis Tourism. In connection with the existence of the development plan, Cengkir Manis Tourism can also be used as a tourist place or tourist attraction with an educational concept for tourist visitors and also for children, because there are several rides that are interesting and challenging and have educational value such as fostering a character of curiosity, character self-confidence, and also the character of courage.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana respon anak dalam Pelestarian Cagar Budaya Situs Patiayam ditinjau dari aspek kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis naratif dimana penelitian ini menganalisis respon anak dalam pelestarian Cagar Budaya Situs Patiayam. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 5 anak sekolah dasar dan petugas situs patiayam yang dilaksanakan di Desa Terban, Jekulo, Kudus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif pendekatan kualitatif yang mengacu pada konsep Milles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya respon anak yang antusias dan senang secara aktif, sehingga anak memahami cara pelestarian Cagar Budaya Situs Patiayam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam memotivasi belajar anak di Desa Kepohkencono. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif sebagai tahapan dalam melaksanakan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam memberikan perannya orang tua di Desa Kepohkencono Kecamatan Pucakwangi Kabupaten Pati berperan sebagai korektor, informator, motivator, organisator, dan fasilitator. Focus peranan dalam penelitian ini dalam hal pembentukan jam belajar anak, pendampingan belajar, dan pemberian reword sebagai bentuk apresiasi pada anak. Penerapan peran tersebut mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak. Menjadi lebih disiplin dalam belajar dan waktu bermain dan belajar dapat teratur dengan baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah peran orang tua sangat berperan terhadap prestasi belajar anak. Maka dari itu orang tua hendaknya menerapkan ketiga peran tersebut agar anak giat dan termotivasi dalam belajarnya, sehingga prestasi yang diperoleh anak bisa lebih maksimal.

Abstract

This research aims to determine increasing student learning outcomes in grade IV SD 5 Karangbener Kudus on theme 5 with Think Pair Share learning models assisted mosaic puzzle media. This class action research was carried out in grades IV SD 5 Karangbener with research subjects 24 students, which lasted for two cycles with each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed an increase in learning activity and achievement. The value of student learning outcomes in the knowledge domain in pre-cycle scores 66 on social studies and 67 on Indonesian content with a percentage of 30% and 25%, cycle I score 73 with a percentage of 62% and increases in cycles II with a score of 81 with a percentage of 83%. For the pre-cycle speaking skill, students got a score of 338 with a percentage of 62%. In cycle I, students achieving a score of 401 with a percentage of 67%. Lastly, an increase in cycle II with a score of 466 with a percentage of 78%.Keywords: The Result of Learning, Themes My Hero, Model of Think Pair Share====================================================================================================Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD 5 Karangbener Kudus pada tema 5 dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media puzzle paku. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD 5 Karangbener dengan subjek penelitian 24 siswa, yang berlangsung selama dua  siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Setiap siklusnya terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi teknik wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan dalam pembelajaran. Nilai hasil belajar siswa ranah pengetahuan pada prasiklus memperoleh skor 66 pada muatan IPS dan 67 pada muatan Bahasa Indonesia dengan persentase 30% dan 25%, siklus I memperoleh skor 73 dengan persentase 62%  dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan skor 81 dengan persentase 83%. Nilai keterampialan berbicara siswa prasiklus memperoleh skor 338 dengan persentase 62% pada siklus I mencapai skor 401 dengan persentase 67%  dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan skor 466 dengan persentase 78%. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Tema Pahlawanku, Model Think Pair Share
