Abstract

The research aimed to know and analyse the difference of learning outcome of geography by demonstration method and lecture method and to know the effect of the demonstration method implementation through the learning outcome. The method used was quasi experimental. The subject of the researsh was the student of grade X IPS of Metro 3 rd senior high school. The research conducted by four times meetings. The object of the research were the implementation of demonstration method dan lecture method and there was an effect of demonstration method implementation through the learning outcome of geography. To the teachers and the prospective teachers are adviced to implement the demonstration method in the class.Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui dan menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar geografi metode demonstrasi dan metode ceramah dan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 3 Metro. Penelitian dilakukan dengan empat kali pertemuan. Objek penelitian adalah penggunaan metode demonstrasi dan metode ceramah terhadap hasil beajar geografi. Analisis data menggunakan t-test dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada perbedaan hasil belajar geografi dengan metode demonstrasi dan metode ceramah serta terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar geografi, disarankan kepada guru dan calon guru geografi untuk menerapkan metode demonstrasi di kelas.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, metode ceramah, dan metode demonstrasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: 1) to knew the difference to the interest learned of student used learned make a match model with interest learned of student used learned conventional. 2) to knew influence of interest learned through make a match model to geography learned activited of student class XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. This study used quasi experimental method. Test data analysis used t-test and simple linear regression test. The results of research and discussion concluded 1) that there are difference in student learned interest used make a match model with students used conventional. 2) as well as positive influence of interest learned through make a match learned model to geography learned activited of student class XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung.Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) untuk mengetahui perbedaan minat belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match dengan minat belajar siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. 2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar melalui model pembelajaran make a match terhadap aktivitas belajar geografi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen. Uji analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa 1) ada perbedaan minat belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match dengan yang siswa menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. 2) ada pengaruh positif dari minat belajar melalui model pembelajaran make a match terhadap aktivitas belajar geografi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung.Kata Kunci: aktivitas belajar, geografi, minat belajar.

Abstract

The research aims to find out (1) the relationship between students learning attitude and achievement, (2) the relationship between students learning motivation and achievement, (3) the relationship between students learning attitude and achievement in Integrated Social Studies at 8th grade of SMPN 2 Raman Utara, Lampung Timur, academic year 2015-2016. The research was conducted quantitatively whose research population was the students of 8th grade of SMPN 2 Raman Utara. Research sampling was taken through proportional random sampling with 51 sample. Data was analyzed by Spearman coefficient correlation and multiple correlation. Results of the research show that (1) there is positive relationship between students learning attitude and achievement, (2) there is positive relationship between students learning motivation and achievement, (3) there is positive relationship between students learning attitude, motivation, and achievement in Integrated Social Studies at 8th grade of SMPN 2 N Raman Utara, Lampung Timur, academic year 2015-2016.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan sikap dengan prestasi belajar, (2) hubungan motivasi dengan prestasi belajar, (3) hubungan sikap dan motivasi dengan prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Raman Utara Lampung Timur tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Raman Utara. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan proportional random sampling, dengan jumlam sampel sebanyak 51 siswa. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan koefisien korelasi Spearman dan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada hubungan positif antara sikap dengan prestasi belajar,(2) ada hubungan positif antara motivasi dengan prestasi belajar, (3) ada hubungan positif antara sikap dan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar IPS Terpadu siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Raman Utara Lampung Timur tahun ajaran 2015/2016 .Kata kunci: motivasi, prestasi belajar, sikap

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out: (1) the differences of average pretest geography on learning, (2) the differences of avarage posttest geography  on learning, (3) the differences of avarage gain geography on learning, and (4) the effectiveness of learning that use visual media. The method used in this research was a Quasi Experiment. The sampling was conducted using purposive sampling. Data collecting techniques were used by test pretest and posttest. The used to process the research data was SPSS version 20.0 for Windows. The result in this study: (1) there is no difference on average pretest geography learning, (2) there are significant differences in the average posttest geography learning, (3) there are difference of Gain (enhancement) in the average geography learning, and (4) learning by using the visual media is more effective than learning without the use of visual media.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan rerata pretest hasil belajar geografi, (2) Perbedaan rerata postest hasil belajar geografi, (3) Perbedaan peningkatan(gain) hasil belajar geografi, dan (4) Efektivitas pembelajaran menggunakan media visual. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berupa pretest dan posttest. Untuk mengolah data penelitian digunakan program SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian ini: (1) Tidak ada perbedaan signifikan rerata pretest geografi, (2) Ada perbedaan signifikan rerata postest hasil belajar geografi, (3) Ada perbedaan peningkatan(gain)hasil belajar geografi, dan (4) Pembelajaran menggunakan media visual lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan media visual.Kata kunci: efektivitas pembelajaran geografi, hasil belajar geografi, media visual

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the students’ learning outcomes through the use of animation media in geographic learning at Senior High School 4 Bandar Lampung. The implementation of this study consists of three cycles, and each cycle consists of several stages, such as planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collected in this study were teacher learning activities and the data from the students’ learning outcomes after using animation media. The data from this study were analyzed by qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that in the first cycle, the completeness of learning outcomes reached 33.33%. In the second cycle the learning outcomes of students increased to 56.66%. In the third cycle which was also as the result in this study, the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes increased to 90.00%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of animation media can improve the geography learning outcomes.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penggunaan media animasi pada pembelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah kegiatan belajar guru dan data dari hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan media animasi. Data dari penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I, ketuntasan hasil belajar mencapai 33,33%. Pada siklus II hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat menjadi 56,66%. Pada siklus III yang sekaligus menjadi hasil dalam penelitian ini, persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 90,00%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penggunaan media animasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, media animasi, pembelajaran geografi

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze (1) difference between the average pretest value. (2) difference between the average posttest value and (3) the difference of improvement deviaton in geography learning outcomes. This research used quasi experimental research method (quasi experiment). The object of this research was geography learning outcomes by using assignment method and assignment in form of email. The subject of the research was students of grade XI IPS SMAN 1 Banjit Way Kanan district. Thedata collection used test and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used gain test technique. The result of this research indicated: (1) There is a significant difference between the average pretest value. (2) There is a significant difference in the mean posttest of geography learning outcomes and (3) There is a significant difference in the mean of the gain value.Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk menganalisa perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest. (2) Untuk menganalisis perbedaan rata-rata nilai posttest dan (3) Untuk menganalisis perbedaan selisih peningkatan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen). Objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar geografi dengan menggunakan metode penugasan dan penugasan bentuk email. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Banjit Kab. Way Kanan. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik uji gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Ada perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata nilai pretest. (2) Ada perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata nilai postest hasil belajar geografi dan (3) Ada perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata nilai gain.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, metode penugasan bentuk email, penugasan.

Abstract

This research is a quasi experimental study aimed to determine the application of cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament in improving student achievement. Design used in this study is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Natar South Lampung school year 2012/2013. The research sample XI IPS 4 of four classes by simple random sampling. Based on the results of the data analysis we concluded that student achievement is better after using cooperative learning model TGT, seen from keefetifitasannya of student achievement after such treatment an effective learning model is used to improve student achievement geography class XI semester IPS SMA Negeri 1 Natar South Lampung school year 2012/2013 in the matter distribution of flora.Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament, prestasi belajar, efektititas belajar

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the differences of using outdoor study learning method toward students. This research was using experiment method by applying posttest control group design. The sample was two classes that were XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2. The data was analyzed by using parametric statistic in which the hypothesis was using t-test through SPSS program. The results showed that (1) there was no significant difference between students score averages of pretest by using outdoor study and conventional,(2) there was significant difference between students posttest score averages that using outdoor study method and conventional in which score averages of outdoor study was higher than conventional ones, (3) there was a difference between students achievement n-Gain that was taught by using outdoor study and conventional ones in which n-Gain outdoor study was higher and it was included in middle criteria.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaaan penggunaan metode pembelajaran outdoor Study terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel kelas XI IPS 1 dan kelas XI IPS 2. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik parametrik dimana uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t pada program SPSS seri 20 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara nilai rata-rata pretest siswa menggunakan metode outdoor study dengan konvensional, (2) ada perbedaan signifikan antara nilai rata-rata posttest siswa menggunakan metode outdoor study dengan konvensional dimana nilai rerata outdoor study lebih besar dari rata-rata konvensional (3) ada perbedaan n-Gain hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan metode outdoor study dengan konvensional, dimana n-Gain outdoor study lebih besar dan termasuk dalam kriteria sedang.Kata kunci: metode outdoor study, hasil belajar, pembelajaran geografi.

Abstract

The research aimed to know the influence of windows movie maker learning media to students learning result in geography subject of grade X in SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung in academic year 2014/2015. This research used quasi experiment method with the pretest-posttest control group design. The population was X grade students in which the samples were X IIS 3 and X IIS 4. The collecting data was done by documentation and test. Data were analyzed by using t-test analysis that ttest ttable (10.112 1,992), with degrees of freedom (dk) = 76 is equal to 1,992 and significance (0,002 0,05). The results of the research showed that there is a positive influence of windows movie maker learning media to students learning result in geography subject in SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Windows Movie Maker terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada pembelajaran Geografi di SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas X dengan sampel kelas X IIS 3 dan X IIS 4. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan hasil uji t menyatakan bahwa nilai thitungttabel (10.112 1,992) dengan derajat kebebasan (dk) = 76, yaitu sebesar 1,992 dan signifikansi (0,002 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif penggunaan media pembelajaran Windows Movie Maker terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Geografi di SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung.Kata kunci: media, hasil belajar, windows movie maker

Abstract

The research aims to find out the difference of pretest of learning motivation and learning outcomes between experiment and control class, the difference of posttest of learning motivation and learning outcomes between experiment  and control class, the influence of using Talking Chips toward student’s learning motivation and learning outcomes. The research is quasi experiment wih pretest-posttest control group design. Instruments used are questionare and test. The data analysis used is Mann Whitney Test. Results of the research are (1) there isn't difference of pretest of learning motivation between experiment and control class, (2) there isn't difference of pretest of learning outcomes between experiment and control class, (3) there is difference of learning motivation posttest between experiment and control class, (4) there is difference of learning outcomes posttest between experiment and control class, (5) there is influnce of Talking Chips model toward learning motivation, and (6) there is influnce of Talking Chips model toward learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pretest motivasi dan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, posttest motivasi dan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, dan pengaruh Talking Chips terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan quasy experiment dengan pre-test post-test control group design. Instrumen yang dipakai adalah angket dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) tidak terdapat perbedaan pretest motivasi belajar siswa antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen, (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan pretest hasil belajar siswa antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen, (3) terdapat perbedaan posttest motivasi belajar siswa antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen, (4) terdapat perbedaan posttest hasil belajar siswa antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen, (5) terdapat pengaruh Talking Chips terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, dan (6) terdapat pengaruh Talking Chips terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Motivasi Belajar, Talking Chips
