Abstract

Social equality among human beings is the ideal condition that has been initiated byphilosophers such as Hegel and Mead, but Axel Honneth offers a different perspective on bothimplementation levels and a more holistic perspective. One of the thoughts related to the acquisition ofHonneth's recognition through his postulate, has illustrated that there is a struggle on the basis ofawareness of respect and recognition of cultural identity in the realm of multiculturalism. In the strugglethere are several steps that must be passed to obtain mutual recognition of the particular identity, wherethe working principle starts from the affective level of love, then the cognitive is in the realm of the legalorder, until the intellectual intuition is poured in the form of solidarity. These three become forms ofreciprocal relationships that lead to the acquisition of recognition in several stages in every phase ofsociety's development. This is in line with the struggle of the Chinese Association of China (INTI) which isalways at the forefront of diffusing the implementation of multiculturalism to the wider community.Recognition of the equal rights and obligations of citizens is an essential human role, as well as the ethnicChinese Indonesian community that has become an integral and fundamental part of the Unitary State ofthe Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Unfortunately, past political policies 'scratch' history track record thatactually creates a negative perception related to the existence of this ethnic.Keywords: Axel Honneth Recognition, Multiculturalism, Perhimpunan INTI

Abstract

Dalam setiap kegiatan interaksi yang dilakukan manusia, pesan dan muatan komunikasi membawa dampak yang signifikan terhadap khalayak. Demikian pula dengan hadirnya iklan sebagai medium penghantar pesan yang dikemas sebaik mungkin antar kreator iklan sebagai komunikator kepada para komunikannya. Orientasi mendasar dari penelitian ini hendak menelusuri Iklan Grab Official yang diunggah pada Youtube sejak Bulan November 2017 yang bertajuk “Luangkan Waktu Untuknya yang Selalu Ada Untukmu!” melalui Teori Dimensi Budaya yang dicetuskan oleh Hofstede. Grab hadir menyibak fenomena transportasi online yang menyimpan sekelumit cerita pro-kontra di masyarakat,namun moda pengangkut orang ini justru kian digemari karena mampu menjawab kebutuhan akan tingginya mobilitas sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menemukan dinamika dimensi budaya melalui apresiasi Grab bagi para pelanggannya dalam iklan yang mengekspresikan identitas Indonesia melalui relasi diadik antara Ayah dan anaknya tersebut pada empat dari enam dimensi. Dua dimensi tersisa secara konsisten ditemukan pada sebagian besar potongan gambar adegan iklan, interpretasi peneliti ini sejalan dengan prinsip Hofstede Insight untuk mayoritas prosentase dimensi budaya Negara Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Ekspresi Identitas, Relasi, Youtube, Grab Official

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is entitled Simplification of Hit Ritual and Hofstede Cultural Dimensions in Sumo Version of Forte Ads. This study aims to understand the Harai Rituals in simplified Sumo rituals and Hofstede's cultural dimensions in FORTE cigarette product advertisements. The FORTE cigarette product is relatively new in the Indonesian market. This cigarette product originating from a Japanese company was launched by a local Indonesian company, PT Djarum. But in the advertisement, the product featured Sumo wrestlers who were squeezed by a frame which later revealed mighty tiny writing as the main FORTE cigarette slogan. In the discussion, it will be explained how Hofstede's dimensions of cultural cross are presented through the overall appearance of Forte's cigarette advertisements and products. The researcher concluded that the audio-visual work of Forte cigarette products in the form of advertisements was a simplification of the ritual of the Sumo sport for the purpose of product promotion and the duration of the ad itself. The Japanese cultural identity that appears in FORTE's cigarette advertisements through Sumo sports has the complexity of historical cultural dimensions which are full of meaning and philosophy.Keywords; Simplification, Harai, ritual, cultural, Hofstede, Forte.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berjudul Simplifikasi Ritual Harai dan Dimensi Kultural Hofstede dalam Iklan Forte Versi Sumo. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami Ritual Harai dalam ritual Sumo yang tersimplifikasi serta dimensi budaya Hofstede dalam iklan produk rokok FORTE. Adapun produk rokok FORTE ini tergolong baru di pasar Indonesia. Produk rokok yang berasal dari perusahaan Jepang ini diluncurkan oleh perusahaan lokal Indonesia, PT Djarum. Namun dalam penayangan iklannya, produk ini menampilkan pegulat Sumo yang terhimpit oleh frame yang kemudian memunculkan tulisan mighty tiny sebagai slogan utama rokok FORTE tersebut. Dalam pembahasan, akan dipaparkan bagaimana dimensi-dimensi lintas kultural Geert Hofstede dipaparkan melalui penampilan keseluruhan iklan dan produk rokok Forte. Peneliti mengambil kesimpulan bahwa karya audio visual produk rokok Forte yang berbentuk iklan merupakan simplifikasi ritual harai dalam olahraga Sumo demi tujuan promosi produk dan durasi iklan itu sendiri. Identitas budaya Jepang yang tampil dalam iklan rokok FORTE melalui olah raga Sumo memiliki kompleksitas dimensi kultural historis yang sarat makna dan filosofi.Kata kunci; Simplifikasi, ritual, Harai, kultural, Hofstede, Forte.

Abstract

Garbage is often an environmental problem, especially in Indonesia, which produces more than 100 tons of waste that is difficult to decompose. This fact creates a separate concern for the government both at home and abroad, especially in the maintenance of the environment and forestry. After socializing the minimization of plastic bags, other problems arise such as reduced employment opportunities due to lower levels of plastic bag consumption. This research reveals several viewpoints of domestic and foreign media that show the disadvantages of plastic factories since the government decree on reducing the use of plastic bags, and with media comparative research methods that will show the objectives of each media through news packaging with analysis of the language used.
