Human gross motor development can develop optimally if it is stimulated in the right way, there are many games for children that function to stimulate gross motor skills, for example the traditional game of jumping rope. This study aims to determine and understand the benefits of the traditional game of jumping rope for the gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years. Based on the results of interviews at TK Plus Darul Hikmah, it was stated that the traditional game of jumping rope had various benefits for the gross motoric development of early childhood. Researchers used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The participants were early childhood teachers at TK Plus Darul Hikmah, then the subjects used were children aged 5-6 years consisting of 3 children. Data collection techniques include observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. For data analysis, the researcher carried out three stages, the first was data reduction, the second was data presentation, and the last was drawing conclusions. Based on field observations, the researchers concluded that the traditional game of jumping rope has benefits for the gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years.Perkembangan motorik kasar manusia bisa berkembang dengan optimal apabila distimulus dengan cara yang benar, sangat beragam permainan untuk anak-anak yang berfungsi menstimulus motorik kasar misalnya permainan tradisional lompat tali. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami manfaat dari permainan tradisional lompat tali bagi perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara di TK Plus Darul Hikmah dinyatakan bahwa permainan tradisional lompat tali memiliki ragam kebermanfaatan bagi perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, metode deskriptif. Partisipan yaitu guru anak usia dini di TK Plus Darul Hikmah, kemudian subjek yang digunakan adalah anak berusia 5-6 tahun terdiri dari 3 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data diantaranya teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan teknik dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data peneliti melakukan tiga tahapan yang pertama reduksi data, yang kedua penyajian data, dan yang terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan observasi di lapangan, peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa permainan tradisional lompat tali memiliki kebermanfaatan bagi perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun.
