Abstract

The environment is one of the important factors in the success of an industrial company. This triggers the company to improve overall performance to implement a better environmental management system. ISO 14001 is an international standard that can be applied by companies to maintain and improve environmental management systems. This study aims to analyze the application of environmental management systems at PT. XYZ and know how far the company is ready to implement ISO 14001. The method used in this study is the Self Assessment Checklist for assessing clauses at ISO 14001. Data collection is done by observing the study site and conducting interviews with employees to obtain information at the company. Data processing is done by assessing the ISO 14001 clause with a self assessment checklist. The results of this study note that the value of the company's readiness to implement an environmental management system based on ISO 14001 standards is equal to 50.41% with a weak category.

Abstract

Dadiah is a fermented food made from buffalo milk containing lactic acid bacteria (LAB). The potentialof LAB as an antimicrobial organism is expected to inhibit or kill pathogens, especially those causinginflammations in the skin. Dadiah used in this study was obtained from the Lintau area of Tanah DatarDistrict, West Sumatra, Indonesia. LAB isolation and identification involved the use of MRS Broth(MERCR) and MRS Agar (MERCK) media and the pathogenic bacteria used include Staphylococcusaureus, Propionibacterium acnes, Acinetobacter Baumannii, Klebsiella pneumonia, and Pseudomonasaeruginosa. The results of this study obtained a total LAB of 7x1011 CFU / g and showed the highestantimicrobial activity in the Staphylococcus aureus with a14.53 mm clear zone and 13.18 mm bacteria inthe Pseudomonas aeruginosa test bacteria.

Abstract

Conversational recommender system (CRS) helps customers get products fitted their needs by repeated interaction mechanisms. When customers want to buy products having many and high tech features (e.g., cars, smartphones, notebook, etc.), most users are not familiar with product technical features. The more natural way to elicit customers’ needs is by asking what they really want to use with the product they want (we call as product functional requirements). In this paper, we analyze four factors, e.g., perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust and perceived enjoyment  associated to user’s intention to adopt the interaction model (in CRS) based on product functional requirements. Result of experiment using technology acceptance model (TAM) indicates that, for users who aren’t familiar with technical features, perceives usefulness is a main factor influencing users’ adoption. Meanwhile, perceived enjoyment plays a role on user’s intention to adopt this interaction model, for users who are familiar with technical features of product.

Abstract

Travelling is one of the activities needed by everyone to overcome weariness. The number of information about the tourism destination on the internet sometimes does not provide easiness for oncoming tourists. This paper proposes a system capable of making travel itinerary, for tourists who want to visit an area within a few days. For generating itinerary, the system considers several criterias (Multi-criteria-based), which include the popularity level of tourist attractions to visit, tourist visits that minimize budgets or tourist visits with as many destinations as possible. To handle multi criteria-based itinerary, we use the concept of multi attribute utility theory (MAUT). The running time of multi criteria-based itinerary is not significantly different from time-based itinerary. In addition, the number of tourist attractions in the itinerary is more than time-based itinerary, because the combination of solutions from each ant becomes more diverse.

Abstract

News curators in twitter are a user, which is interested in following, spreading, giving feedback of recent popular articles. There are two kinds of this user, news curator as human user and news aggregator as bot user. In prior works about news curator, the classification system built using followers, URL, mention and retweet feature. However, there are limited prior works for classifiying Indonesian News Curator in twitter and still hard for labelling data involve just two features: followers and URL. In this paper, we proposed a framework for classifying Indonesian news curator in twitter using Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) and added features such as location, bio profile, and common tweet. Another purpose for analysing the influential features of certain class, so its make easier for labelling data of this role in the future. Examination result using percentage split as evaluating system produced 87% accuracy. The most influential features for news curator are followers, bio profile, mention and retweet. For news aggregator class are followers, location, and URL. The rest just common tweet feature for not both class. We implemented Feature Subset Selection (FSS) for increasing system performance and avoiding the over fitting data, it has produced 92.90% accuracy.

Abstract

Ascaridiosis yang disebabkan oelh Ascaridia galli merupakan penyakit parasitik internal yang penting pada peternakan unggas. Di Amerika Serikat, cacing in merupakan parasit yang sangat banyak menyerang ternak ayam (Wehr, 1972). Di Bogor penyakit ini menduduki urutan ke 6 dari penyakit unggas (Gordon dan Poernomo, 1974) dan di Indonesia sendiri kejadiannya sebanyak 14.3% (Ginting, 1986).Penularan penyakit umumnya terjadi secara langsung yaitu dengan menelan telur cacing  yang infektif (Tugwell & Ackert. 1952). Perkembangan dari infeksi A. galli dipengaruhi oleh nutrisi, mineral dan suhu (El Tomi, Aziz, Kader dan Wahab, 1974, Reddy dan Ratman, 1985).

Abstract

Indonesia sangat kaya akan sumber daya obat yangberasal dari alam yang sampai saat ini belum seluruhnya diteliti dengan tuntas untuk dapat memenuhi berbagai persyaratan dan kriteria bahan obat yang dapat menjamin kebenaran khasiat, keamanan dan mutu obat yang dapat digunakan untuk pengendalian penyakit baik untuk manusia ataupun ternak.Soekaryo (1989) berpendapat sampai saat ini kebanyakan pemanfaatan obat bahan alam di Indonesia masih tradisional alam arti pemakaiannya terutama sebagai obat tradisionil atau jamu yang masih jarang dan belum diterima oleh para tenaga kesehatan dan institusi kesehatan sebagai obat pada pelayanan kesehatan formal.

Abstract

Among 78 native chicken from Bogor and its surrounding districts, only  4 (5.1%) with mean dressing weights of 1250 ± 29 g were free from parasiric worms. The other 74 chicken found infected with nematodes [mean nematode numbers (mn) = 24]. Cestodes (mc = 45) and trematodes (mt = 7). Single parasite class infections of nematode (mn = 18) and of trematode (mt = 96) were each one sample (1.3% with mws 1250 and 1180 g, respectively); single parasite class infections of cestode (mc = 47) were 15 (19.2% wit mw = 1145 g). Total single parasite class infections were 17 (21.8%). Mixed nermatode (mn = 29) + castode (mc = 50) were 41 (52,6%; mw = 1056 g), nematode (mn = 4) + trematode (mt = 28) were 2 (2.6% mw = 1225 g) and cestode (mc = 44) + trematode (mt = 6 - were 2 (2,6%; ws = 975 g). Total two parasite class infections were 45 (57.7%). Mixed infections of nematode (mn - 45) + cestode (mc = 44) + trematode (mt = 27) were 12 (15,4%; mw = 1034 g).

Abstract

Creative thinking is cognitive skill to gain knowledge. Creative thinking is a basic skill in educational process. Creative thinking is an ability to think of creating a new relationship that is more beneficial than previous information that already obtained. Research found out that creative thinking ability of class VII student in biology learning at SMPN 25 Padang was in moderate category.  Aspect of creative thinking that could be obtained by class VII student in highest percentage score was elaborative aspect. Overall, based on questionnaire, aspect of fluency could be obtained moderately with percentage of 59%; aspect of flexibility could be obtained moderately with percentage of 58%, aspect of originality could be obtained moderately with percentage of 59%, and aspect of elaborative could be obtained well with percentage of 60%. From research finding it was obtained average percentage of overall aspects was 59.2% that was in moderate category.

Abstract

Churn Prediction merupakan salah satu aplikasi data mining yang bertujuan untuk memprediksi parapelanggan yang berpotensial untuk churn. Churn Prediction merupakan salah satu kasus kelas imbalance danchurn merupakan kelas minor. Terdapat beberapa cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan imbalance class yangmelekat pada kasus churn ini. Salah satu contohnya dengan cara melakukan balancing terhadap data trainingatau dengan cara menggunakan metode yang khusus dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan imbalance class ini.Analisis yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah metode Bagging dan Lazy Baggingdapat dijadikan solusi dalam mengklasifikasikan data churn. Dalam mendukung penelitian ini, dibuatperangkat lunak yang mengimplementasikan metode Bagging, dan Lazy Bagging. Pengujian dilakukan denganmenggunakan data salah satu perusahaan telekomunikasidi Indonesia. Sebagai metode pembanding adalahBoosting Clementine 10.1 dan C5.0 Clementine 10.1. Analisis dilakukan dengan melakukan penghitunganakurasi model churn prediction yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk lift curve, top decile dan gini coefficient serta fmeasureuntuk penghitungan akurasi data yang imbalance. Dari analisa yang dilakukan, metode Bagging dapatmemprediksikan data churn jika dilakukan balancing terlebih dahulu terhadap data training yang digunakan.Tetapi dari parameter lift curve, gini coefficient, ternyata Lazy Bagging menghasilkan nilai yang lebih baikuntuk data yang sangat imbalance (tanpa balancing)Kata kunci : bagging, lazy bagging, boosting , data imbalance, churn prediction, akurasi.
