Sistem adsorpsi pada padatan atau sistem adsorpsi fisik banyak sekali digunakan dewasa ini. Sistem adsorpsi digunakan pada sistem penjernihan air, penyerapan limbah, gas storage (penyimpan gas), sistem pendingin, pemurnian gas (gas purification) dan lain-lain. Pada sistem adsorpsi media penyerapnya biasa disebut sebagai adsorben dan zat yang terserap disebut sebagai adsorbat. Efisiensi sistem menggunakan aplikasi adsorpsi ditentukan oleh karakteristik adsorpsi fisik. Alat uji nilai karakteristik adsorpsi fisik berupa kapasitas dan laju penyerapan adsorben menyerap adsorbat pasangannya adalah alat uji adsorpsi kinetik. Alat uji adsorpsi kinetik dirancang dengan metode volumetrik. Perhitungan kapasitas dan laju penyerapan menggunakan persamaan gas ideal. Pengujian unjuk kerja alat uji adsorpsi dilakukan dengan uji repeatibility data dan validasi data menggunakan uji statistik T-berpasangan didapatkan thitung=-379.177. Hasil pengujian hipotesis penelitian diterima pada a=0.05. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat kesamaan data pengujian 1 dan 2 pada taraf signifikan (nyata) 95%.; Adsorption in solid surface is used by research and industrial. The designed and manufacturing kinetic of adsorption test rig is used by volumetric method, which can be used to calculate characteristic adsorption like capacity and kinetic of adsorption. The data processing is using thermodynamics equation of ideal gas (STP), that is calculating capacity and kinetic of adsorption. The performance of test rig examination is using repeatability of data. The conclusion of examination is using statistical paired-samples T-test. The Result of T-test get thitung=-379.177. that is mean the research hypothesis accepted at a=0.05. Theconclusion of research is have same data between examination 1 and 2 at signification level (real) 95%.
