Evaluation of achievement is separate from teaching and learning process; moreover, it is vital in educational system and teaching in educational institution. Improvement and development of education could be identified by result of evaluation. Thus, through evaluation teachers would be able to identify how success teaching and learning process they planned and discover efficiency level of programme.Qualitative method is used in this research. Observation, interview, and documentation are techniques of data collection used. Techniques of data analysis are data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing.Result of this research is teachers evaluating ability in Civic Education teaching and learning process in Senior High School 1 Banjarmasin, teachers have done eight evaluation criteria in teaching and learning process, they were: consistency between teaching and learning process and curriculum, Keterlaksanaannya by teacher, Keterlaksanaannya by students, students learning motivation, activeness, interaction, teachers ability in teaching, students achievement quality; however, weaknesses caused by lackness of teachers ability in planning and applying evaluation in Senior High School 1 Banjarmasin were discovered.Teachers ability in doing final evaluation in learning Civics Education in Senior High School 1 Banjarmasin has already been good enough. Although generally evaluation has been done well, there were some weaknesses found.Suggestion for this research is that Civic Education teachers in Senior High School 1 Banjarmasin need improvements in creating good lesson plan, and teachers should record students improvements in learning process in well-organized note such as learning process in well-organized note such as lembar penilaian diskusi, lembar penilaian afektif for objectivity of students score.
